Got 2 questions: #1 Can anyone please tell me how to connect Kodak AZ251 to a hp15 laptop so I can use the laptop as viewfinder? #2 Is possible to use an external microphone with Kodak pixpro Az251

If instructions are not contained in the manual, it is more than likely that this is not possible with this camera

This probably refers to the SD card. On an SD card there is a switch at the side which can be moved to protect the card contents (locked or write protect) or permit writing to the card (unlocked). Just move this to the unlocked position.

Is the camera on it should recognize it

Can you give a better explanation of what you mean by off track? Do you mean it doesn't track with the zoom or is it not correctly aligned compared to the screen?
Viewfinders are never very accurate on that class of camera, you would have to dismantle to see if anything has come adrift within the viewfinder, and unless you can do it yourself it wont be economical.

Just shoot loose if using the viewfinder and use the screen if it's critical.

I understand the LCD is fussy/unclear.

It is not possible to buy a viewing screen for KODAK cameras.
An Out of Warranty repair for this model for this fault is about 88 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.

This is normal with Kodak digital cameras. Use good old AA alkaline batteries instead of the Kodak expensive battery pack. Make sure you use the viewfinder and keep the LCD display off as much as possible. The LCD display will deplete the batteries in about 4 hours if left on. Use the quick view option to see what the picture you just took looks like.
