Question about HP Pavilion DV6700T Notebook
System crashed. Blue Screen with error 0x400110020000100A. It's an HP computer. Tried recovery disc and it's not working. Please help and thanks in advance!
Look carefully at the hard drive that you are replacing. When you take it out of the [mine is a Compaq f750us] computer you might see, for want of a better term, a "STRETCHER" attached to the contacts/connectors, remove it. Put it on the NEW hard drive, put hard drive into computer. Try it again. I did and I did NOT get the "error" code! Why because the HD is now CONNECTED...touches the contacts..
