SOURCE: Converter box installation. Not a clue.

rf cables will work fine for older tvs. newer tvs should use the composite (yellow, red and white cable) to produce a digital picture and sound. FYI the indoor antenna works best when positioned in a window. Best thing to do is install an outdoor antenna in the attic near the gable vent or on the exterior of the house.

Esa tv digital to analog

Hi.I assume you can watch some channels, using your indoor digital antenna. As far as I know, you need an intermediate "box", or interface between the cable TV coming in, and the decoder. This has to be installed by the cable company. Between the decoder and the interface, there are two connections. One signal connection and one UTP wire connection for communication between both units. At least, that's how it works in Belgium and most other countries.

Terk od amplified indoor digital antenna installed after install of wintv-hvr 1600 internal hdtv card. win7 opens, followed instructions to scan for atsc digital tv.....NO CHANNELS FOUND. cables...

Unless you are very close to the TV transmitter aerial it is very unlikely that you will get adequate signal for digital TV with an indoor antenna. Check with your neighbours to see what they use and where the nearest transmitter is.
Unfortunately, with indoor an antenna, the amplifier also amplifies any electrical interference from other devices in the building.
First step would be to try taking it outdoors (use an extension cord to get well away from any buildings, trees or large metal objects that could block the signal).

With a digital set top box, you do not need an antenna for your TV. You need to switch the TV to whatever input you have connected the TV to. Usually the set top box is connected to the TV by an HDMI cable. Take a look at what input on your TV the cable connects to, and then set the TV to that input. It should then work fine.

How do you connect a toshiba dvd to a tlc plasma tv

First of all unplug tv and tosh dvd.
1.connect the antenna(digital aerial) to the ATENNA IN jack of the dvd.
2.connect the ANTENNA OUT jack of the dvd to the Aerial jack of your TV.Using a RF cable(usually supplied if new)
3.Connect AV1(TV) scart socket of the dvd to the scart socket of your tv.Using a scart cable.

Then you are ready to start and program the channels.

Quasar tv atenna/connector broke on tv

Yes if your cable box has RCA yellow, white, red, outputs on it and your tv has RCA inputs on it you can hook it up that way. It'll only cost you one set of RCA cables which are not expensive at all.
