Power wont come on at all

I have a DENON AVR-1506 7.1
i had used my reciever last night and it worked just fine, i didnt have the volume cranked , and i wasnt messing with the settings. now today i go to use it and it wont even power on, plus the red led power light isint on. i tried different outlets with no sucsess. i took the cover off and i can see 2 glass tube style fuses and both of them apear to be fine.

so is the mother board fried? did the power converter give out? i just dont understand how it could of worked fine last night and now today there is nothing.

oh and i thought maybe a power surge, but i had it pluged into a power strip, and everything else on that strip is working fine.

please help, i love my receiver, and i dont have the cash to replace it

May be the power supply check for power to the power supply and the output voltage from it as well !! May need to be replaced ! It cost $125.00 for part and $225.00 for a new one installed !!

Denon receiver avr 1506 has sound issues. One side has very very low crackly sound until the receiver is good and warm then suddenly the sound starts working normally on the affected side. Or if I really...

Sounds like a thermal related problem and what comes to mind is a cold solder joint. I'm thinking that the "good and warm" is the circuit boards heating up inside where-as the "really crank the volume" is sound vibration to the circuit board helping to make connection. Try this...1st time turn on with problem present...use a clenched fist to lightly vibrate the chassis on top, bottom and sides. Does this vibration test make the problem disappear/appear? If it is a solder connection be warned...locating and repairing these type problems is no picnic and most often requires the "trained eye" of a electronics tech to locate.

Denon AVR-3200 wont go into standby mode

Not sure what you mean by standby mode. The power button on most of the audio remotes I deal with merely turns the equipment on and off.

Unable to get my sub to work with my Denon AVR 1506 Receiver

Did it ever work? Are you certain the sub is getting a signal. It has to be defined. How about the speaker levels adjustment? Did that work? Give us a clue.

Denon AVR-1100 receiver "PROTECT" mode

replace all the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply. i had the exact same problem with mine and once i replaced the capacitors it powered up and stayed on and worked perfect.
these capacitors tend to fail as they're of poor quality.
this fault is very common on denon receivers, especially the later models.

hope this helps?

Sound Stops

disconnect everything from the unit and see if it still does it.
if it does i would check the output transistor (ic).
