sounds as if perhaps the fan in the freezer is not circulating air up to refrig sect. pretty common issue, if you pull out freezer door youll be able to hear the fan on the back wall, behind the vent on top sect of freezer. that cover pops right off with a pry of the screw driver.. heres the part number if indded that is the issue 12002744 comes with instuctions on how to install

The timing device is on the back lower leg area, looks like a white round dial with a flat blade screw driver edge on it

It’s a main control board issue and most likely needs replacing after cutting power to it for five minutes to see if board will reset.

I have a 3 yr old maytag ref/w/bottom drawer freezer. We have noticed water/ice under the freezer basket. Sometimes it is thawing and comes outonto the floor.Any ideas what causes this? I have not found...

Have you tried the following steps: 1) check that the gaskets are free of any damage, dirt, or ice. The door gaskets should seal perfectly on closing. 2) Or: turn off the ref, safely guard your frozen food, let the ref thaw totally and more. The purpose is to eliminate any undesired icing. If no succes and your problem gets worse call for help.

Typically without knowing model - It detects 120 volts when you are plugged in and when it is unplugged it automatically switches to propane. If you are asking for the technical version - it would be the logic board that does the detecting and switching. Now most of the units out there will allow you to select it manually by moving the switch or pressing the mode button multiple times.

Turn off the change filter light on maytag refrigerator

For my Maytag Refrigerator Model # MSD 2756 GE, I had to hold the "Light" & "Lock/Unlock" buttons simultaneously until the "Change Filter" light went off instead of the "Water" & "Lock/Unlock" buttons.

Maytag lock and filter change

to reset the change filter light:
Press hold the LIGHT and LOCK pads until the CHANGE FILTER light blinks (approx. 3 sec.)
Dispenser lock:
to interrupt power to the water and ice dispenser so it cannot be used , press the lock pad 3 times within 10 seconds.
