Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

I need to return the pick assembly to my HP officejet 7310 all-in-one. I can get it to snap in but it does not seem to be in all the way and I can not close the outer lid. I took it out to clean it. can you help? A large blown up image would be fabulous! the actual manual is not helping. Anita

There are 3 sections on the assembly that need to meet and lock into the printer itself. Yes, I am using the blue-green handles and the blue green button. but the outer lid will not close. I feel like it is snapped into place but I must need to go further. I am afraid to break it. I wish there was a photo of this section but the manual only has a diagram and it is not close enough to see the details. Thank you for the suggestion so far.

Be certain to use the blue-green handle to lift and return the pick assembly. Also, adjust the rollers and separator pad a bit for a better fit. Hope this helps.

The glass on the bottom side of my all-in-one

just be careful not to damage anything
the front part might be 'snapped' on, look to see if there are any tabs that you could push in to let the front face come off.
Also, if you get to this point of the glass underneath, look in the system to see what may have caused it.
Lastly, most importantly, make sure every thing is UNPLUGGED so you don't ground it out.

Where is the carrriage located on my hp 7310 officejet printer?

The carriage is the unit that holds your ink cartridges, usually parked on the right side. When you have carriage stall or carriage jam you usually need to clean the clear plastic strip that runs across behind the carriage assembly, and make sure there are no scraps stopping the travel of the carriage.
