How to do blindstitch hem with a pfaff 1035. I have the blind stitch foot

You need to also have a blindstitch stitch on your machine. It looks something like this:

-------V--------V--------V-------

The straight stitch segment is stitched on the hem fabric, but the V portion zags over and catches a couple threads in the fold on the wrong side of the garment fabric.

Sewing jeans hems

You need a couple of things. One is to flatten the seams before you try to sew them. One of the best is to spread the hems on a wooden cutting board or simiilar smooth surface and beat the hems flat with a flat faced hammer. This is an official sewing hammer: http://www.fashion-incubator.com/archive/tools_and_supplies/ and it will compress the fabric so it doesn't lift your presser foot up and let the tension off the top thread (which is what's causing your looping problem).

For crossing thick seams, you need a shim to keep the presser foot flat while sewing. These are usually called hump jumpers or jean-a-majigs, and are a couple of bucks. Or you can use a fold of fabric in the same way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbYenXIDaDk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKdW_vIZLBo

Alternatively, you can do the jeans hem alteration that pros will charge you more for (because it's "fashionable"), and it's also faster and easier. Often called Euro-hemming: http://www.sewmuchado.com/2011/06/tutorial-how-to-hem-jeans-and-keep-the-original-hem.html

Get everything threaded and when I go to sew it bunches all up on the bottom either bunches or the thread is all loose

Hello,
Here's some solutions to try.

* Re-thread your machine
It may be threaded incorrectly.

* Raise your feed dogs
If your machine has this feature.
* When you start to sew a seam, hold the upper and bobbin thread tails. Hold them back and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will keep them from getting
caught in your machine.

I hope this helps you.

What is a Narrow double hem with hand slip

You can find some instructions on a narrow double hem at http://www.sewjanetmoville.co.uk/content/learning/viewArticle.asp?lcArticleCategoryID=0&lcArticleID=3&pgid=learningCentre. Instead of machine sewing it, use a hand slip stitch as seen here: http://www.hutchal.clara.net/curtains/sewguide.htm.

You can find more info on these techniques at http://www.repair-home.com/how_to_sew_repairs.html

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more info.

Bobbin thread bunching

Check between the tension disc, sometimes you can get a piece of thread caught in that and it prevents it from tightening down and making a good stitch. Also, make sure that your presser foot is in the up position when you thread your machine.

Topand bottom stitches are not even

Could be a tension issue.

Try this to see if it helps:
Remove top thread.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning.
Start the top tension set at the midway point and then adjust.
Check that the bobbin is threaded and installed correctly.

Coverstitching on White Speedylock serger

Your machine cannot do a cover stitch. Check the Brother website, they make a cover stitch only machine, it works much better than any of the serger/cover stitch combination machines, and it is a lot less money.
