Question about Samsung Televison & Video

1 Answer

How do i switch to game mode? The tv doesn't even have a place to put the red, yellow and white cords. Only a place to screw into the back. I have a nintendo game cube and it won't switch over to game mode. I have a universal remote and not the original.

Not sure what you mean by game mode but I think I can help. You need a RF Modulator and coaxil cable. You local department store should have all you need. An RF Modulator will do the trick.

I have a video game don't know where to put the whight and yello cords colors don't match up

if you have a tv that has a red, yellow, and white inputs then you put in the corresponding jacks into them. if your tv only has a yellow and a white inputs, you can ignore the red wire. most important note though is that the yellow wire must match the yellow input as that is the video cable.

How do i properly connect my nintendo nes sytem to my direct tv. when i use the av cables i just get a blue screen. can u give me step by step to connect correctly.

Note: This type of connection is not possible with the newer-style NES.

Installation Steps:

Locate the Audio/Video inputs on the back of the TV.
Place the yellow end of the AV cable into the Video "in" on the back of the TV. Connect the white or red end of the cable to Audio "in" ("left" or "mono"). Use a slight twisting motion when inserting each cable and ensure the cables are firmly pressed into the input.
On the other end of the AV cable, plug the yellow end into the "Video" (yellow) input. Plug the white or red end into the "Audio" (red) input, on the back of the NES.
After the system is connected to the TV:

Insert the Game Pak firmly into the Control Deck.
Plug the Controller(s) into the front of the system. Use the far left port for player one.
Plug the AC Adapter into the back of the system . Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Press the Power button in on the front of the NES.
Turn on the TV and locate the input select. It is often called: TV/Video, input select, AUX (auxiliary), Line, Line In, Input, Source, Select, In, or EXT (external). Switch the input select to show the Nintendo game.
The game image should now be displayed on the screen. You are ready to play!
If after following these directions you are not able to view the game (for instance, if the red power light flashes off and on), try our Troubleshooting Tips.

Connected to tv but no Wii screen when we switch

Was trying to use the component option on the screen, as this had the red, yellow and white plugs shown. Eventually tried all the other options and found that it was plugged into Video 1! Works perfectly. Should try all the options on the TV!

Im a girl, & i need help hooking up my ps3 to my flatscreen

ok it should all go into your tv ok? and there should be a row of yellow white red or any order (ON THE FRONT). you should look on the back of your tv or side for alot rows of inputs and each row should be for an different input on your tv like input 1 2 3 4 5 6? you follow? so just match the colors up on the back or side of your tv or front do not hook it up to your cable box..........Ahh i see the cable box is using the yellow one well maybe unplug that while your playing or there would prolly be other (RED WHITE YELLOW) on the back of your tv like i said or on the side

HOOKING UP XBOX 360 TO HDTV

You have to use the regular red and white cords(not the yellow) and u have to use all 3 hd cords. If ur tv doesnt have a place to put the cords in, then it isnt HD. Also on the plug connecting to the 360, there is a switch that has HD and regular, switch it to HD. hope this helped.
