Whirlpool Duet Sport front load...won't spin

Glass bead stuck between drum and floor of machine and will not allow it to spin. I can manually turn the drum about 7 inches but gets jammed when the bead gets into a certain position. I took off the bottom panel but cannot access where the bead is from there due to the rubber gasket. Any ideas? How do you remove the front panel..not the bottom front panel. I really can't afford a service call. Thank you!

Wow, check around the bellows, gray rubber seal in front between the stainless basket, remove any item. Didn't find anything now unplug unit remove top and lower machine covers. Run the flashlight along the outer tub while looking inside the stainless basket, locate any items that may jam rotation of the inner basket and remove.

WHIRLPOOL DUET SPORT FRT LODER WASHER VIBRATES VERY BAD

Might be a simple fix. First, make sure your machine is sitting level (or pretty close to level) on the floor. Next, using a Torx bit (probably, that's what my 9250 had), unscrew the screws holding on the front access panel. When you look inside, you'll notice several shocks (usually 4) that stabilize the drum as it turns and spins. Make sure they are all intact and mounted to the drum (they have a tendancy, especially after having been run in an excessively vibrating state, to dismount from the drum). If the mounting pin is intact, stretch the shock to reinsert it into the slot on the bracket mounted to the drum, and turn to lock it into place. If the mounting pin is broken, you'll need to order another (probably the entire shock, actually) to repair it. Also, be sure that you are not overstuffing your washer, as overloading will also cause excessive vibration. Hope this helps!

My Whirlpool duet sport makes a terrible noise during spin cycle like drum hitting something or belt slipping. There are no error codes or smell of burning belt. HELP!!

the drum bearings are shot, you need to get them replaced,if the drum is actually hitting the sides if the tub this could be a broken spider thats on the rear of the inner drum that holds the drum on if this comes loose it can cause serious personal injury

Whirlpool Duet Sport--won't completely spin out, leaves water in the tub. I cleaned out the drain filter, it kind of works for 1 load then goes back to not spinning out completely.

We have a Whirlpool Duet Sport Front-Loading Automatic Washer and it makes a pretty loud noise when in the spin cycle. The volume is directly proportional as to how fast the washer is spinning. It's a...

The symptoms that you describe are caused by bearing failure. The water seal in the wash tub has failed, allowing water to leak into the bearing causing the bearings to rust. As the bearings start to rust, they will not roll properly and start to make a rumbling sound. The sound get louder the faster the bearing turns.
It a major job to repair since the washer has to be taken apart and the wash drum needs to be removed to replace the seal and bearings. Get a few estimates before deciding whether the washer is worth the cost to repair or replace. Sorry.
