There should have been a cord that came with your GameShark Pro cartridge. One end would connect to the parallel port on your computer, one end to your GameShark Pro. This would then allow you to talk to your cartridge, download patches, etc. There are patches at the Gameshark website for all versions of Windows. If you bought your cartridge used , or for some reason did not get your cable, you can go to any computer store and buy the cable. If you take your cartridge with you, and tell them that you need a cable to connect that cart to your parallel port on your computer, they will be able to sell you the correct cable. Good luck, and hopefully you got your cable with your cart.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I put my gameshark on my nintendo 64 and the game on it but on the gameshark pro its write 8 and the tv screen is black and after 30 minutes its still like that P.S. sorry for my english

I know mine didn't work,so i took it to a pro. He cleaned i thoroughly and it worked after that.He said 6 out of 10 of them are dead , but luckily mine just had really dirty contacts, top and bottom. So I'd recommend taking it to a pro, but first try different games with it ,sometimes it just gets stuck on a keycode.
