Question about Creda W100FW Front Load Washer

1 Answer

I have the same problem and same machine.

Silly question I know but going to ask it anyway - where is the pump?

I did look for a filter but it doesn't have one. At the back of the washing machine there does seem to be a panel that can be undone - do I need to undo it?

No fuel to fuel rail

When you say "bad gas" , what are you referring to? Was it dirty or did it have water in it? And how did you discover this?

Sorry to ask silly questions but just trying to get an idea of the background! If it was water you may find that it has now all separated and is on the bottom of the tank- the first place for your pump to pick up from.

You may have a pump that is jammed due to dirt or sediment depending on what was the problem with the fuel. Regardless Im thinking that a fuel tank removal and flush is going to be essential in the near future.

If you're not getting fuel pressure out of pump, check power supply to pump. That way around you know if it is an electrical problem or a pump issue- inside or outside the tank!!

Sorry if im a bit general but limited info from your question. Hope it helps??!!

My GE Front load washer WBVH6240FWW continuously fills until we shut the water off, whether the washer is on or not. How can we fix this please?

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

When the washer fills continuously it means the problem is with the water inlet valve that is bad and needs replacement, if you want you can test the valve before replacing. If the valve tests fine then replacing the water level switch is recommended. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Nextra HNWF 3135 doesn't work hole cycle, after washing stops, doesn't rinse or spin, these steps I must set up manually, because it doesn't do. I've tried to do with different programs...

Ok hot water being still there and not draining is a clog in your drain line or pump issue. I have not yet brought up the schematic to your unit but on some units there is a clean out filter located down the bottom in which you would clean out the filter careful water does come out when you unscrew the filter on other models that do not have the filter door you would remove the lower panel on the front which would give you access to the pump and the drain lines as well even though if you do find items in the filter you still need to disconnect the drain lines going to and leaving from the pump to assure that nothing is blocking or clogging the flow of water. Im glad you replyed about the hot water still being on the inside definite clog in the drain line or pump or filter issue. If you have any further questions message me back. I await your reply Thanks

Hi. Husband just bought santos galbee, small for me 2 days ago from Cartier. I went with him. I noted now that the crown doesn't screw tight (maybe I am used to my Rolex). The crown can continue to...

Call Cartier and ask about this situation with the crown...they will probably tell you to come in if it's a real issue or tell you how to adjust it properly over the phone.

If they ask you to come in then the imposition is on you. A kind of reversal of power. Now you are not borthering them with a silly question, instead they are imposing on you and your time. Thus you are in the "Power Position". Embrace it, look at your watch a couple of times while you're there like "you have other things to do" but be nice about it...enjoy. I know exactly what you are talking about, I have felt intimidated there. Even the score for us!

I replaced the pump (part number 2217220) in my KitchenAid ice machine under my bar. It has been 3 hours and there's still no ice. I saw frost on the plate and a little bit of water dripping back...

Hello,

I know im going to ask a silly question;is the water reservior where the pump draws its water from full w/water? if not fill it by hand and see if it makes one slab of ice. Then determine why its not filling(usually water valve)

It doesn't empty the water from the bottom wondering if i need to clean the filter ?

Yes!

You should be cleaning the filter regularly anyway (Between 1 - 6 months depending on usage of the machine)>

If there is water in there now that wont empty, pull the machine out and tip it back 45 degrees sop you can remove the filter without the remaining water spilling out all over you and your floor

Clothes come out dingy with a sour smell.

Hi,

Unfortunately you do not say the make and model but I'm going to make some suggestions anyway!

The first sounds silly but check that the washing powder IS actually going into the machine and that the whole wash, rinsing (with conditioner- which should smell nice!) and spinning cycles all complete OK. Presumable the water is getting hot enough else the machine would not continue its wash cycle.
What is left is the possibility that the waste water is not clearing the machine properly. This could be caused by the drain motor lint tray/filter being blocked. So many problems are caused by this simple little thing!
In any case I would check the filter which, on front loaders (and possibly top loaders) is normally found behind the front lower panel. I would also advise cleaning this filter on a regular basis- every 3- 6 months maybe.

I hope this cures your problem!

Cheers,

John C

There is a catch filter in the large hose going to the drain pump from the tub, it will be in there.

I have a peugeot 206 1.4 hdi 2004 getig no fule to injectors is ther a fule pump in boot .do they have a fule cut off button

You can check the pump anyway, turn the key in ignition so dash lights come on, you should hear the pump come on for a few seconds. This sounds silly but have you also checked the fuse, also have you had the fuel filter changed? I am guessing there is fuel in the tank??...lol.
