Question about Panasonic KX-TG2431 Cordless Phone

1 Answer

Phone sounds like going underwater, buzz noise when headset in

Our panasonic model KX-TG2431 is four years old and recently has been flashing the BOOST option even when fully charged, even with a battery switch it still gives trouble. People say we sound like we are garbled and "under water. In addition when we plug the headset in (which previously gave us no trouble) a buzzing noise is heard on the phone. Anyadvice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Phone rings once and gets forwarded

Hello there,

Call forwarding is a feature of PABX and Public Exchange systems so do you mean the phone rings once and then 'forwards' to another different telephone number ? If so, then you need to contact the company / person controlling your Lines as you cannot change this on your phone.

If you mean that the phone rings once and then goes on to Answerphone, then this is down to the setting of 'ring count' which is on page 40 of your user manual downloadable here http://www.manualslib.com/manual/117136/Panasonic-Kx-Tg2431.html

If this doesnt answer your question, these please ask again and try and give us more information to help you.

Not getting a dial tone for two days on my TG2431;

first off I would want to know if there is dialtone getting to the phone. I would unplug the cord going to the phone at the phone itself. I would then plug that cord into a known good working phone. If you can get dialtone from this phone then you know it is making it to the questionable set. if not then try another cord.
