It's thermal paper and most likely was installed backwards-- turn the paper around and it should print

Is it thermal paper?

Try pulling off about 12" of paper and reprinting. Sometimes the outter layers are damaged somehow.

Is the spring on the roller bar good?

I have a VeriFone Omni Vx510 - I keep getting a paper out message when trying to process a transaction. There is paper in the machine.


If the printer does not work properly:
• Check battery status or terminal power connection. The printer will not print if
there is an insufficient charge remaining in the battery to complete the print
operation. (For Vx610 terminals only.)
• Check if the printer is out of paper and that the roll is properly installed. Open
the paper roll cover and install a new roll of printer paper or ensure that the roll
is feeding from the bottom.
• Verify that the printer roller and paper roll dust cover are properly installed.
• If the problem persists, contact 775-358-2922 hope this help : - )

How can I change the paper. I cannot find the correct slot to install the new paper roll


Press down on the button located on the side of the terminal to unlatch the
paper roll cover, then lift the cover up and back
Remove any partial roll of paper in the printer tray by lifting up
Loosen the glued leading edge of the paper or remove the protective strip
from the new roll of paper. Unwind the paper roll past any glue residue.
Hold the roll so the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll
Drop the paper roll into the printer tray.

Close the paper roll cover by gently pressing directly on the cover until it clicks
shut, allowing a small amount of paper past the glue residue to extend outside
the printer door.
To prevent the paper roll cover from damaging the print roller, always gently press
down on the printer dust cover to close it.

Printing on labels is very faint - how do I fix that?


first you should check the the quality of your paper roll if it doesnt solve your problem you need to change the thermal print head

Changed rolls of labels on Zebra GX 420T and now nothing prints


Were the new labels thermal paper? Thermal printers need specially made paper to work right.

OMNI 3200 OUT OF INK


a lot of times there are issues with the paper cup lid not closing all the way. Try to apply preasure to the lid of paper cup and re-print a receipt and/or report. If still not printing.. Check the paper... make sure its thermal. To test you paper if it thermal... use your thumb nail and run it across the backside of the paper. If it thermal it will leave a faint gray mark the "shinny" side of the paper.

My printer not printing at all- paper just rolling out with scant


if you haven't used the printer for a while before you discovered the bad print quality, the print head has most probably completely dried out. i don't think there is anything you can do about that, except for replacing it better having it replaced by an authorised technician.

Printing is very faint. How to change or add ink printer device.


This is most likely a ribbon impact system. Any office supply store should have the ribbon you need, with information on compaitability on the package.

Remove the paper roll and gently but firmly pry on the bezel surrounding the paper exit path. Examine the sides of the ribbon casing for any clips or fasteners.

replace your roll, if you havent use for quite some time, chances are this could be overexposed
