Panasonic CD PLayer SL-CT520 Rechargeable AAA Batteries

I am having trouble in finding the right rechargeable batteries for my Panasonic CD player SL-CT520.
The ones recommended by Panasonic are "NI-MH RECHARGE BATTERIES HHR-4AGA/2B" which recharges within the CD player itself with the help of a DC Adapter.
Kindly Suggest if I can put NI-MH Batteries of any other company and have them rechagred in the CD player Body itself, without any need of buying an extra charger.
The batteries available in the market are "Panasonic HHR-3HPA", if I buy these will they be compatible with my CD player and charge in the Player unit itself with the DC adapter power.

Hey this is RaulFixall. You can fix this problem by naking the batteries, I'm mean by taking apart the plastic that cover them. You'll see that the led charging will turn on.

Dear Anskho8,

The best guide for batteries is the type Size, voltage, and capacity in milliampere hours. as long as this specifications match you can always interchanged them. However you should buy the same type and quantity per batch, do not mixed them up.

Also make sure these are NI-mh types.

The RD1072 uses standard AAA batteries, disposable or rechargeable. If you want to use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the player using a separate battery charger.

I need a rechargeable battery for my lenoxx cd player. The battery burned out.

They don't recommend rechargeable batteries.

15. The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended for this set because their voltage and life is lower than standard batteries.

. For battery operation, use 6 size C batteries. We recommend alkaline batteries for longer life.

. When the batteries will not be used for a few weeks or more, remove them to avoid damage that can be caused
by battery leakage or corrosion.

CD player won't operate on brand new batteries. It turns on for a moment then off in a couple seconds. Works with the car ac adapter. If there is no CD in it, it will say 'no disc' without turning off for...

I think you must have a good supply of current for the player and maybe you must try with rechargeable batteries. If this wont work the set has a fault in the power supply input regulator wherein the regulator must have a fault. You will need to remove the covers and use a multimeter- if you are familiar- to confirm this regulator. replace and proceed. Good day

How can I charge my centon 4gb mp3 player?

I have the same player. You can use a rechargable battery. But you cannot charge the battery by connecting it to the USB. You must charge the battery with a AAA battery charger - they sell them at walmart for like $15. The rechargable battery really works excellent in this player - I listen to my player all day long and rechargeable batteries are the only way to go for me! Make sure you have four batteries though so you can always have a backup charged as the charger takes 8 hours to charge the batteries.
