I have an acoustic solution TV and when I turn it on the sound is normal but the screen is black and green in colour. Is it worth getting it fixed?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

hi the problem wouldnt be the screen instead your probably right with the video card if the screen was dead it would stay black but with it changing slightly you know the screen is gettin power.
When you press the controll does an led flash on the telly to tell you the controll is working just incase the telly is stuck on an av channel.
If you have got a dvd player hooked upto the telly switch this on with the telly on and see if the telly will work using the dvd player this would rule out the fault being with the ports on the telly not picking up the signal.
If this still dont change anything then it could either be a resistor gone or a couple or it could be what you thought with the video card/controller but their is no way of knowing without testing the resistance at certain points on the board but it deffinately wouldnt be a problem with the screen so it shouldnt cost to much to repair.
It mgith be a case that the telly has overheated and blown a resistor thse can be brought for pennys but locating will be the problem let me know what you want to do and wether you are considering doing the repair yourself if you are you will need schematics to follow off and also multimeter to test resistance at certain points on the board.

Acoustic Solutions LCD26761HDF TV turned itself off & standby light started flashing. TV wont respond to remote or on set buttons

The solution to Acoustic Solutions problems, such as intermittant power off and flashing blue light is very simple: dump it in the trash. This product has lots of problems which are associated with memory and timing. There is no software update available, its just cheap Chinese ****.

Acoustic solutions tv screen flashing coulour blue red and green what is the problem and how to solve me help thanks

Heya dude, iv got the exact telly as mentioned. Had this problem just recently. i tried everything, switching off power, unplugging everything. i was just about to start looking for a new telly when i tried using the remote.i pressed the menu button a few times, mabe this was a fluke or maybe it just sorts the problem out. It seems to me that this problem is a built in pixel fixer which somehow starts itself. Hope i help

Acoustic Solutions TV Fault

I think you are looking at a power board problem. I had the same thing happen to a Vizio and I replaced the power board and it solved the problem. It could also be the input board but most likely the power board.

Thanks,

Code for 32 in lg tv to work with sky control

TV
RED + SELECT
TV
0056

try the power button if this switches off your telly press select to save the code if not repeat TV and then Power until it does... remember to press select once it knocks your telly into standby.

if you have not joy with this then you are going to have to get a newer sky remote. if you take the battery cover off the back of the remote you will see a sticker on there saying REV 4,6,8 the higher the number the newer the remote. then do the process again.

0056 is the manufacturers code for LG

When turned on, no picture, sound or response. LED is OK

I had a similar problem with my HANNSLounge 32", the screen switched on with green light but none of the front panel buttons worked (screen is black apart from showing the input source in the top left).
After powering off numerous times I tried starting up with a blank SD card in the reader and the tv cycled between red green and blue screens and then reset itself. (Some sort of firmware restore?) After which point I had a working screen again! (Will have to see how long it lasts for!)

Brand new lcd tv worked for one day then not coming off standby

hello, if all your connected components and power sources are ok
then you may want to take it back for an exchange if it is possible.
it seems to be defective from the start.
your tv is in shutdown mode, a fualty power supply or internal board circut is cuasing your tv not to work.the tv needs service for internal circut trouble.
try to exchange it or get your refund asap..

hope this helps
happy holidays
