You can only do this if the TV has an input for the computer, it would be the "RGB" in video input options menu of the TV.

ProScan Elite tablet/DVD Player. Why won't it connect to WiFi?

Sorry to say, but Proscan are cheap Chinese junk that costs $60. If your WiFi is STRONG, and you are close to it, just send it back.

You will see in this link that it is a known issue.

How can I connect a Proscan PLDED4016A 40 LED TV, With a Phillips soundbar HTL1520B?

Can you access all of the ports on the ProScan PLDED4016A? There are some ports that face down (near the power cord) and others on the right hand side (as you face the back). The picture from the manual, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1049754/Proscan-Plded4016a.html?page=8#manual , indicates a headphone jack and a coax audio output and analog RCA audio out. The headphone jack is at the bottom of the side input area below the component video and service port. The digital Coaxial and RCA Audio outputs are closest to the power cord.

The PC Audio port is an input when the TV is used as a monitor with a VGA connection to a computer. See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1049754/Proscan-Plded4016a.html?page=12#manual for using the TV with headphones.

If the headphone jack doesn't work, you need some sort of converter or adapter. To use the TV's digital coaxial audio port with the optical digital audio port on the sound bar, you need something like this: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=2947 . Note: make sure to get the correct input and output option; these are not bidirectional. You will need to supply the RCA digital audio cable.

For the analog RCA audio output on the TV, you have multiple options. A simple RCA (M/M) to 3.5 mm (M) cable will work. So will various RCA audio/3.5 mm adapters, depending on where you want to put the adapter. (RCA (M/M) to 3.5 mm (F) is the simplest since you have the Aux cable.) These will connect to the Aux in on the soundbar.

You can also use an analog to digital audio converter, https://www.amazon.com/Musou-Digital-Optical-Toslink-Converter/dp/B01HGHNCMW . You'll need to supply the standard analog RCA audio cable for most of these. Then connect the converter output to the optical audio port on the HTL1520B.

I hope this helps.

(Years ago, the 3.5 mm to RCA cable was often in the accessories for connecting a portable CD player to a stereo system.)

How to fit a sound bar to a proscan tv

1) Go the Sound Tab on the remote's Proscan menu
2) Set the system's "Digital Audio Output" to PCM (pulse code modulation)
3) Connect a coaxial cable from the Coaxial "jack" on the back of the TV to the Digital Input "jack" on the back of the sound bar.
It should work now!

ProScan TV - Movies playing on Blu Ray via ProScan TV are all in black & white. I am certain I have a connection wrong but can't figure out which one - the "names" of connections on ProScan a

why do not you try totalmedia? I have used it for almost 2 years and never had any problem. it plays blu ray on pc smoothly. when i bought it, to my surprise, it can change region code, thus i'm never worried about relaxing myself when on business. It's an easy to use and professional blu ray player software for windows; including Windows 8. of course, it fully integrates with Windows Media Center too. beyond your surprise, it's also a 3d video player.

I am attempting to hook up audio connected from my pc to proscan HDTV monitor , the monitor end is self explanatory but the pc end isnt. I have plugged in the audio in and audio out but dont see where...

Most basic (and even expensive ones!) PCs only have a mini jack audio output. It's the type of socket that mp3 players use for the headphones.
Look for this small socket on the back of your PC (usually part of the soundcard) It might even have a picture of a pair of headphones next to it.
Now you'll need the correct cable which will have a mini jack plug (also known as a 3.5mm jack plug) at one end and the correct plugs at the other to connect into the Proscan.
A bit like one of these
Or you can purchase an adaptor to convert the other end of your existing cable. Like this one.
Hope this helps!

"No Signal" Message when using HDMI Inputs on 26" Proscan LCD TV

You MUST get HDMI Driver for your Video Card, it is NOT standard. You need to go to PC makers web site and download latest Video Divers for your PC, then you must set up Multiple Desktops, To do that you must first connect the TV, but leave OFF, connect up to PC, reboot, setup Video Card, turn ON TV, TV will have already been detected, On PC, Share the desktop, or Clone, whatever you wish, now reboot after saving settings. Now you set the TV for HDMI already and it should show you a desktop when chosen. You must select and setup TV, FIRST, then connect the PC. From then on, Turn the TV ON, then turn the PC ON, that way it will Always detect the HDMI port.

Trying to hookup vhs analog player to hd proscan

your toshiba player should have output composite video and audio which are color coded Yellow for video, red and white for audio same goes for proscan hdtv. connect between the two keeping in mind color of cables. If the toshiba player is really old you can connect the RF cable output to antenna input to the proscan tv and watch taped programs from the player on channel 3 of the proscan tv. If then you want to keep the hookup and still watch HDTV connect the antenna to the toshiba vcr and when you shut off the vcr you can now watch the hdtv channels as usual because now you are bypassing the antenna to the Proscan tv. Hope this Helps..
