I want extend warranty for 4 years ,what I have to do ?

Ok - what's the question? Yes they exist.... they may or may not be worth it depending on the value of your product and how much you are charged. If the product is obsolete in 4 years, why pay for such a warranty?

A lot would depend on how long of an extended warranty you purchased. Most manufacturers usually have a normal one year warranty as standard with extended warranty starting after the one year is up. Hope this helps!

Since the unit is less than one year old, Sony should repair it under warranty. Also, check the extended warranty parperwork. Normally the seller does not provide the actual warranty, they contract with a service company. That company should still be around. If you are not successful with Sony, please post the exact problem and model number and we'll try to get you up and running.

in my opinion, generally not. most extended warranties do not cover user "abuse" or "wear-and tear", so any issues of this type will probably not be covered regardless (check the fine print to be sure). a refrigerator doesn't have moving parts like a washer or dryer does, so failure of any part on a new refrigerator within the original warranty period plus 4 additional years is unlikely. please keep in mind that purchase of extended warranties is an extremely personal choice. there are many factors that should go into the decision, including (but of course, not limited to) how much risk you are personally comfortable with, how much the refrigerator is worth, and if you would be able to afford an out-of-pocket repair. good luck!

The PDP (plasma) panel has gone bad and need to be replaced. This is not a user serviceable part and cost about 1/3 of buying a new unit plus the cost of labor for a two-man job. I would hope that this unit was purchased less than 1 year as warranty for parts and labor is 1 year. If not I do hope you purchased an extended warranty or paid it with a MasterCard (some MC card provider extends the warranty by another year).
