My software cannot see my printer/scanner

what is your printer system? laser printer or water color? what is that model? you have problem with Magenta color

Sounds like something in the printer settings on the computer. If not that, then the print heads need to be cleaned. Have you tried running the printer on another computer to see if you get the same results? If the same thing happens, then it's the printer, if not, well then you know it's the settings.

Follow these steps :

Open the software program that came from your scanner.

Lift the lid of your scanner, place photo on scanner bed and close the lid.

Press the "Scan" button on the scanner or in your scanner software program.

Preview the scanned photo on your computer screen and check that the borders are straight and even. Rescan the photo if you make changes.

Load photo paper into your photo printer.

Press "Print" on your computer screen where your scanned picture is showing. If "Print" is not an option, save your photo to a specific folder and open it. When it's open you should have the option to "Print.

hello, machine will need to finish calibration so it will not come back, so if machine failes it could be that the color cartridge is not printing, because this machine uses yellow to calibrate with.

NOTE: You can use + and ? buttons in the Bottom bar to add or delete pages in the OUTPUT list. You can reorder pages by dragging them to new positions in the Sidebar. Select a destination from the Toolbar: If you opened HP Scan from other software, and want to send the scan to that software, click Return . If you are ready to save, print, or send the scan to a specific destination, click Save , Print , or Send . NOTE: If you are saving the file, make sure to select the file format that you want.

check the print cartridge contacts see if they are blocked. It may be a clogged print head.

The b&W option from the driver are only applicable to documents. If you wanted to print B&W picture, you need to set it on the program that you are printing from.

well i can suggest a very simple solution for problem. Follow the video to create a sepia http://video.about.com/graphicssoft/Sepia-tone-look-in-photoshop.htm
after that merge all the layers. Now add the original picture in you work and place it at the back of the Sepia Layer. Carefully erase the flower in the Sepia Layer and as you do this the flower from the original picture will show its original colors.
