YOU PROBABLY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MEMORY ON YOUR PS1 CARD AND THE PS2 DOES'T KNOW HOW TO TELL YOU THIS BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY PROGRAMED TO SAY NOT ENOUGH MEMORY WITH A PS2 MEMORY CARD. TO PLAY OFF YOU SAVED DATA TRY TRANSFERRING YOUR MEMORY TO A COMOUTER THEN TO A PS2 MEMORY CARD... BEST OF LUCK
did you try reading the memory card without any game discs put in via the ps2 menu?
is your memory card working properly? could be a corrupted memory card or a faulty memory card slot. try putting a friend's memory card on that same slot. if it works... then your memory card is gone bad... if it doesnt work...then your memory card slot has gone bad.
else try putting your memory card in your friend's ps2, see if that ps2 reads your memory card. if it does...then your memory card slot has gone bad.
You sure its playstation 2 memory card because years back when I had a ps2 I used PS1 memory card and it didnt acknowledge it so I had to buy a memory card for ps2 made by sony.
I am sorry to say your files are gone,. I know how disastrerous this is as you have put in many hours developeing thse saves. If it were me, I would kick my cousins tail. The Memory card is actually static memory, and cannot be restored.
Your question is somewhat confusing, using a playstation 2 memory card, will have PS2 game saves on it, how would you play PS2 games on a PS1 from the save, you can't.
If you just mean you are using a PS2 card for a PS1, the way a PS2 card saves data is different to a PS1 card, so it probably won't work
You can use your PS1 memory cards in the PS2. You can only use the PS1 memory cards to save PS1 games that you are playing in your PS2. You can't save any PS2 game data to a PS1 memory card
