More than likely either your water line to the filter or the filter is plugged and needs repl., slightly loosen water line at each dide of filter and see where you start to get constant good water flow, then you've found the culprit

Ihave had Hiccups for two days and need a method of stopping so I can get some sleep

Hey there "Lanier" do you still have the Hiccups ? if so, I will tell you how to get rid of them in 30 seconds.

get a medium size glass (10-12oz) fill it to about 1" full from the top, now while standing up, drop your head down put the glass to your mouth so that your trying to drink off of the opposite side of the glass than you normally would, so that your chin is actually in the glass and so the bottom of the glass is going back towards your chest, now as you slowly bend forward from your waist, start drinking the water out of the glass, (its like your trying to take a drink in the opposite fashion that you normally would) . Now you might spill a little but its ok, you only need to drink a small amount of water, now when your bent over and have had a few swallows of water, keep your head bent down for 10 seconds or so and now stand back up and pour the rest of the water down the sink because your Hiccups are gone.

Here is why this works, (it's actually a biological plumbing thing) the " Hiccups " are nothing more than an air bubble in your digestive system, so by bending over and drinking the water in this fashion, it lets the water run into your system and the air bubble to escape over the top. ( BTW my dad taught me this trick in 1965 and I've cured a million cases of Hiccups, plus I've won a lot of money in the bars showing people how to do this ).

You can thank me later...

Do drinking fountains easily infect one person with other peoples' contagious diseases?

When drinking fountains were first created they used to shoot "water one inch straight into the air, creating a bubbling texture, and the excess water" used to run "back down over the sides of the nozzle" (wikipedia) This was definitely an easy way to convey deseases. However, after a while, the production of drinking fountains started adopting an arc projection, which made it easier for the person to drink and made it more sanitary. Nowdays the jet of water goes as far as four inches in order to avoid infections and bacterial transmission.

What is a drinking fountain?

A drinking fountain, also called a water fountain or a bubbler, is a fountain designed to provide drinking water. It consists of a basin with either continuously running water or a tap. The drinker bends down to the stream of water and swallows water directly from the stream. Modern indoor drinking fountains may incorporate filters to remove impurities from the water and chillers to lower its temperature. Drinking fountains are usually found in public places, like schools, rest areas, libraries, and grocery stores. Many jurisdictions require drinking fountains to be wheelchair accessible (by sticking out horizontally from the wall), and to include an additional unit of a lower height for children and short adults.

What are the health benefits of carbonated drinks?

Carbonated water is almost as beneficial to health as plain water. When compared to regular water, sparkling water has the ability to cause dental erosion, but the negative dental effects of carbonated water are negligible. However, adding sugar or acid substances to carbonated beverages greatly increase these negative effects. Carbonated water is good for hydration, although fizzy water has less of a hydrating effect than the same volume of regular water. The taste and texture of carbonated water may lead you to drink a greater volume of sparkling water than you would have consumed had only regular water been available. Carbonation is one way to increase consumer interest in drinking water.

How do you do the master cleanse?

The master cleanse requires ORGANIC cayenne pepper, ORGANIC lemons, ORGANIC maple syrup.( grade B.) Sea salt. ( the salt cannot be iodized salt. It has to be sea salt or himalayan rock salt from the health food store) You also need a laxative tea. ( a strong one ) For 10-30 days, you will eat nothing, drink nothing, except for lemonade that you make with purified water( 1 Litre) with the juice of 1 lemon, 1 tbs of maple syrup and cayenne to taste. You may drink unlimited amounts of lemonade daily.
Every night you drink your laxative tea. Every morning you make your salt water flush. 1 quart of warm water and 2 teaspoons of your sea salt. You drink this down and try not to ****. Do NOT leave the house. Stay near a toilet as this will produce an urgent bowel movement. Also, no store bought lemon juice as it contains chemicals and nitrates, you MUST use real lemons

The machine says "ready"

That Sounds like theres a blockage, most likely limescale has built up in the boiler. If you try descale now when water is only dribbling through, it probably wont work. Recommend strip down machine and unblock pipework and try get water flow to come back stronger, then try a descale cycle.

Water keeps running from drinking spicket.

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip.

Not making ice

Hi: Change or just remove the water filter first. As your water dispensing slowed that is a clue. If the water filter is that clogged it will cause a problem with the ice maker. Plus the water you drink is not filtered anymore. City water is being run through 2 years of crud. If you don't replace it just remove it. I hope this helps, Jeff
