I have a mobile phone (which I've lost, but need to find) that is set up to divert all calls to another phone (which I have). I'd like to call it, to listen for a ringtone at the back of a wardrobe or something, but obviously can't.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

To make an call divert , you have tweak your phone call divert settings in such a way that every call is diverted to your mobile.
You can read the instruction manual for help.Provided your machine should have an option of call diversion ....
thanks for rating
pickup the handset (phone... watever) and press the FWD/DND button then press #2 then type in the number of the mobile (or number you want to forward to...), and hang up the phone... then when your finished with the call forwarding function, press FWD/DND again and this time press #0
What 2 does it turn on the call forwarding feature . and 0 turns off forwarding/do not disturb functions
theres 5 different functions after you press FWD/DND
0: turns FWD/DND off 1: put the phone into Do Not Disturb Mode 2: call forwarding 3: Busy-Forwarding.. which means if your on the phone and someone rings, it forwards them to the number you specify 4: No Answer- when you don't answer the phone if forwards the caller onto the number you type in and lastly 5: Busy/No Answer- does both function 3 & 4
If you're happy with the destination for C.O. Calls, you can set only the intercom call forward. There are *71xx codes that you dial. The 3rd digit is 0 for all calls, 1 for CO calls and 2 for itnercom calls.
The 4th digit can be 0/2/3/4/5 where zero is cancel, 2 is all, 3 is busy, 4 is no answer and 5 is busy/NA. The next digits are the destination which may also include an access code (9) and then #.
So, example to forward all intercom calls to voice mail (if 500) dial *7122 500 #. If the location for both calls is the same you can also reset everything by dialing *7100# then *7102 500 #.
Hi it sounds like your problem is that the call diverts are set to divert all calls what you need to do is goto settings then goto call settings then look for call divert settings what you need to do is cancel all diverts and then go through them one by one and just activate divert if off (activating this one goes to ans phn if phn off activate divert if busy ( goes to ans phn if your on phone call) activate divert if out of reach (goes to ans phn if no signal) After doing these settings then your phone should ring when someone calls you. Before you activate any divert setting select cancel all diverts then get someone to ring you and make sure phone rings the screen will now display whos callind and the phone should also ring. Let me know if you need further assistance ok let me know how you get on
