How can I reattach handle so I can vac?

Hi Tess, it's Jack at Dyson.

This issue sounds unusual - DC24's reversible wand should simply reattach to the machine in the same way it was removed. The red clip at the front holds it in place.

In order to help you resolve this issue, we'd need to take some additional details about the particular issue you're experiencing. When you have your DC24 to hand, please contact the Dyson Customer Helpline for further assistance. You can reach our experts by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

How do I get my Dyson to stay in upright position. It will not lock into place.

Which model of Dyson do you have. I am going to guess it may be a DC25. It is a common problem with that model. Let me know and we will see if we can help you.

Xl2600hhvacuum won't stand alone anymore, what is broken, is it a spring or some kind of catch missing

The detent that is mounted to the inside of the base cover is not working either because the screw holding has broken off or it is worn out. You could also have a worn out fan housing since that is what the detent catches to make it stand up. If the screw is broken off the only way to repair it is to replace the housing. Hope this helps.

New Dyson DC24 ball vac 2nd time using brush stopped rotating when caught on short rug fringe/ no mat`l caught

Hi there,

Your DC24 is equipped with a sensor which shuts off the brush bar if something jams it. You can reset the machine by following the steps shown in the video below. You may also want to refer to our online Support guide:

http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/dc24/dc24-multi-floor/my-machine-is-not-working/my-brushbar-is-not-rotating/stabiliser-check

Please note, the brush bar will never rotate when the machine is standing upright, so make sure you recline your DC24 into the vacuuming position before testing it.
If you'd like any further assistance or advice, please give our customer Helpline a call on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1-866-693-9766 (US).

Best wishes,

Jack

My dyson roller ball upright vacuum cleaner will not go upright? you push the red bar to put the vacuum down to clean and then it won't go upright again?

Hi there, Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your Dyson cleaner. I wonder if your cleaner is actually a DC25? If so, it's possible that the stabiliser pedal has become misaligned. However, if you do have a DC24 and are having trouble standing it upright, it's probably best if you get in touch with us directly. One of our experts will be happy to run through some troubleshooting over the phone with you, and recommend the best course of action. You can call us free on 08002980298 - our Helpline is open from 7am until 10pm, 7 days a week. Kind regards, Jack Dyson Online Customer Support

The vacuum keeps falling over and won't stand upright. The vacuum won't **** from the bottom, only from the hose in the handle.

No Vacuum will work for more than a few weeks
if you don't own an air compressor & blow them out
after every 2 or 3 uses
