The OEM carb on this model was Motorcraft, and you can get the rebuild kit from Ford or you can look up the model number either in Chilton's manual for that car, or maybe find another (kinda hard nowadays) carb in a junkyard and maybe it still has the tag. You can also research the specs for that motor on a web page of Ford or 2nd party auto parts dealers. I'd bet most mechanics over 40 years old could start you off in the right direction, too.

What is the power of the engine of the Chevrolet K-30 Truck year 1976 ?

I GUESS YOU MEANT HORSE POWER?> OR TORQUE AT THE FLYWHEEL>?
OLD TRUCK MAY HAVE HAD 3 ENGINE SWAP NOW.
THE VIN CODE SHOWS DAY 1 ENGINE CODE THERE
BUT PERSONALLY ID GET THE ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER FIRST OFF THE ENGINE AND GOOGLE IT.
BINGO WHAT ENGINES IS THERE.
K30 PICKUP? HAD 4 ENGINES DAY1 NEW USA CHOICES
GEN3 K30
ALL GEN3 HAD SOME OF THESE OR WAS SWAPPED OUT.
BACK THEN I'D DE-TUNED MANY ENGINES TO GET 16MPG NOT 8 OR WORSE.
WITH CARB CHANGES, DID MANY
Powertrain
Engine 250 cu in (4.1 L) I6
292 cu in (4.8 L) I6
262 cu in (4.3 L) V6
305 cu in (5.0 L) V8

YOU NEED HEAD AND BLOCK CASTING NUMBER TO KNOW WHAT IS REALLY THERE IF THE 8TH VIN CODE IS WRONG UNDER HOOD
400>? SAYS USED EXTENSIVELY ON TRUCK THEN,.

Early models produced 265 hp (198 kW) with a two-barrel carburetor. All 400s came with a two-barrel carburetor until 1973. A four-barrel carburetor option became available in 1974.

The 400 was never intended as a high-performance engine and never saw large factory horsepower numbers; nevertheless, it developed a reputation for creating tremendous torque (up to 400 lb?ft (542 N?m) in 1970)

OLD CARS OR TRUCKS MAY HAVE HAVE MODS
STEEL HEADERS
BETTER CARBS (FOR MORE HP OR FOR MORE MPG)
HEAD SWAPS.

1985 dodge pick up that cranks but won't start

Need to have the basics: air, fuel, fire. Does carb shoot gas down carb barrel when you pump the throttle? Do you have a good spark when turning over? Air you should have. Pull a spark plug or two and see if they're wet. Leave one out, connected to plug wire, and have base well grounded, crank it and see if you've a good spark (no gas fumes around when you do this!). Make sure plug wires are going to the right plugs.

How many RPMs should a V8 Chevy with a 4 barrel Rochester carb be turning?

I would expect about 4500 to 5000 RPM with stock engine and valve springs/lifters in good shape. An electronic ignition may extend this somewhat. Dual exhaust with low back pressure mufflers will push it a little more yet. This is assuming that the engine is well tuned including the 4-barrel. Hope this helps!

Changed 4 barrell carb to a 2 barrell it wont hold the idle and dies out

that 2 barrell needs some more work done to it and what was wrong with the 4 barrell the 2 main jets in a 4 barrell are smaller than a 2 barrell as long as you dont engage the 4 barrells your using less gas anyways.
