Question about Sub-Zero 650 / O Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
Is there a filter that filters the water used to make ice ? My ice has a funny musty or moldy taste. Only word I can use to describe it. If the system has a water filter could this be the culprit as to why the ice tastes this way. If so, where can I locate the filter about the refrig.
Whre can I purchase the filters(part number ?)
Any comments will greatly be appreciated !
The 650 does not have a filter built into the unit. Any filter would be on the supply line to unit, usually in the basement below the unit, or under the kitchen sink. Do you use alot of ice? If not you may want to empty the bucket every few weeks to let it produce fresh ice.
