I dont have a sim card on this phone it's a Samsung SCH-a870. By phone # i mean i'm currently using an old phone, should i transfer my # back first. Also #06# does not work the # on the back go 06.10//////////870t and then 11 numbers. Telus has said these 11 numbers are my imei but it doesnt match 15 lick everyone says. I did check on unlock.com it said it would work so i tried it and it didnt. Socould transfering the # be the problem. I did include the 870T to make 15# that seemed to work on checking.

Firstly the question you asking is in complete.. ne ways dealing with several such issues i get the problem you are facing. 1. To unlock it there are many methods and different websites.. like one said. unlock.com also i suggest you to visit the site www.unlockitnow.com/?gclid=COjxz5P9u5sCFRdGxwodMiIVAw these is one of the best site for phone unlocking.. as i can also provide you with the code but as i dont know your IMIE #.. so dont waste your valuable time visit the site and unlock it.. and as some one has said to you #06#.... thats not the way to get the IMIE #... type..*#06# (important) now as you can unlock the phone.. but you need to put a simcard in it.boss without wiz you cant enter inside the phone..please insert any sim card.. 2. Transpering your # ........a) can be done manually... B)also as samsung SCH-870 do have bluetooth why do not use the facilities available in it?

You do not need to put any old phone number, all you need to do is having the sim card that you want unlock inside the phone, and being sure that your IMEI number is correct.

To find out if you have the correct IMEI number you can do the following:

Enter *#06# on your phone's key pad. When the final # is entered, a 15-digit number with the title "IMEI number" will appear.

Regards.

Cant get phone unlocked due to set unlock code

Try the default lock code "0000" ,if this doesn't work you either have to take help of some websites that provide lock codes (for some bucks) ,if u provide IMEI number oruse your brain in a creative manner ,the code is definetely of 4 numbers.can try all permutations.

Hi mate ive got a sony ericsson w850i mobile and icant remember the code can you help me my imei 35282601-890424-5-12

SIM pin code:
This is a pin code that locks the sim card until you enter the correct code. This protects your account, even
if your sim is put into another handset. To reset it, you need the PUK code:
Pin Unlock Code (PUK)
If you miss key (or forget) your SIM pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the SIM will lock up, and you’ll need to enter the PUK unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don’t try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
Phone Security Code:
This locks the handset, as opposed to the sim card. You can also set some handsets to only accept a “new” sim if the phone security code is entered. To reset it, you need the Master code code:
Master Reset Code
Sometimes known as the Master Code, this allows you to unlock a handset if you have entered the Security Code wrongly too many times.
Which is the one that you want?

IMEI: 35282601890424512 has too many digits. IMEI has only 15 digits. It's needed to calculate the Master code which will reset the Security code.
