Is this ok for a query, does the story sound interesting?

Natalie Sullivan has just lost the love of her life, Luke, in a tragic car accident. Instead of taking time to grieve, Natalie decides to go straight from the funeral on an epic road trip to all of the places her and Luke talked about going but never got the chance; including Zion National Park, the Salton Sea, Anza Borrego Desert, and more. Just as she is about to leave, she has car trouble, and the only way she can embark on this journey, is to go with Luke’s younger and abrasive brother Rhys, who drinks whiskey out of a coffee mug and is practically a stranger. Despite her disdain for him, Rhys, a seasoned outdoorsman, becomes Natalie’s guide on this road trip, and through this journey out of grief. Emerging is a story of loss and how the different types of love – romantic and platonic – lead to Natalie's ability to come to terms with Luke’s death, and even her own issues she has been running away from. It is a story of healing through the beauty of nature. It is also about family, and the struggle between two brothers.

Oh dear. first, you have to learn grammar and syntax before anyone will read your query. Get a good book from the library or go online and see how to write a good query letter. Remember there is a difference between a query letter and a synopsis. Good luck

Is it okay if I mix third and first person in my story?

A bit of constructive criticism:

it is a good start to use fictional places in stories that are fiction (when it comes to places such as Canoga Park)

the way you are writing is all in the speakers pov you haven't really switched. so it's fine to keep this format

I would suggest not saying things like "come join me on the flashback..." as its unprofessional and makes the story feel less real and less immersive.

Overall it seems like an interesting read

Draw the outline of your story, sort of a map with each chapter, roughly describe the main topics of each chapter. where does your story start and how does it end? What's the main theme? who are the main characters?(create a character profile for each character) what are the conflicts?
