Can civilian planes use JP-8?

If a plane ends up at an air force base after making an emergency landing and there is no JET A fuel, can the A330 or 777 use JP-8 at the base or does it have to wait until a fuel truck comes? Will it damage its engines?

JP-8 is just Jet A with some additives. As a general rule, there shouldn't be any problem, although the engine manufacturer, the airframe manufacturer and the airline will all have published something about it in their operating manuals. For more than you probably want to know, see the link.

What happens if a private Cessna 172 pilot tries to land at big airports like JFK or O'Hair when there is no emergency?

It's quite permissible to do so, however a general aviation pilot in a low performance plane should be ready for fast instructions and quite a bit of maneuvering to stay out of the way. The best time to do it would be at night. Here's a youtube video of one doing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKvWn317tpU

Is hydrogen the only source of fuel that can replace the current jet fuel for airplanes?

Well technically you can make a ducted fan plane but it is highly inefficient as battery technology is still in its infant stages as well as batteries are still very heavy. Secondly Jet engines are basically high bypass turbines.. They can technically run on many different fuels such as diesel, kerosene, and propane.

Did F-14 pilots have the ultimate pride in their Tomcat jets?

It's difficult to make broad generalizations about the attitudes and beliefs of all F-14 Tomcat pilots, as individuals may have had different experiences and perspectives. However, it is true that the F-14 Tomcat was a highly capable fighter jet and was widely regarded as one of the most dominant and effective planes of its time.
Many F-14 pilots were proud of their aircraft and their training, and saw themselves as part of an elite group of aviators. The plane's advanced technology, long range, and sophisticated weapons systems made it well-suited for a variety of combat scenarios, and the pilots who flew it often pushed the plane to its limits.
That said, it's important to note that all branches of the military have highly trained and skilled pilots, and there is a great deal of respect and admiration across the various services. While there may have been some friendly competition or rivalry between different types of planes or units, it is not accurate to say that one group of pilots is inherently better or more skilled than another. Each branch and each aircraft has its own unique strengths and capabilities, and all serve an important role in the defense of the country.

Where do you land if there is an emergency during a trans-atlantic flight?

You're stuck with a water landing (ditching). Hopefully at altitude the pilot can see a ship and make the landing in the vicinity of the ship for quick rescue. It so rare for a plane to lose power to all engines though that you should never hear of such an incident. Depending on the route, however, Bermuda may be within gliding distance.

Can a CRJ700 full of passengers fly from LA to Japan with no layovers if the entire cargo deck is converted into a large fuel tank?

How much fuel would that be in pounds? Remember that the plane will need to get into the air, if it is too heavy it wont be able to takeoff. Also what if something happens that requires the plane to come back and land?

Can military fighter jets use JET - A fuel?

They can use almost any jet fuel on a short term. For longer term use there is usually an adjustment required on the fuel controller.

Why no whole-plane parachute system on commercial flights?

Aircraft too heavy. Weight is extremely valuable/expensive and the weight of a parachute system would be too heavy and costly, sacrificing room for paying passengers.
