Question about Financial aid

Open Question

Should I fill in my middle initial on the FAFSA application?

You're probably thinking, "Of course, is this kid stupid?". But the reason why I'm contemplating whether or not to include my middle initial is because technically, I don't have one according to school records. Legally, I do have a middle name; it's on my birth certificate and social security card. But my mom, for whatever reason, decided to leave it out when enrolling me in school 12 years ago. Our college counselor has already made it very clear how important it is to fill out the FAFSA correctly and accurately, so I'm not sure what to do. If I include it, I'm afraid that it won't correspond with my school info and that could ruin my chances for financial aid(which I really need). But if I exclude it, then it would be in conflict with my legal records. Do I include or exclude? I'm so worried.
