Question about Military

Open Question

Could I still join the military with depression in my past?

I attempted suicide when I was 14 due to a combination of things happening in my life. I spent about 4 days in inpatient therapy and it was suggested I take antidepressants, but refused them and soon became much better. I am now 17 and hoping to enlist in the Marines or Army but I'm scared they will deny me due to my past. It was a one-time situation with no trace of depression left in me. Could I still enlist?
