Putting the icemaker back in the freezer after fixing a defrosting problem. How do you install the auger?

Based on GE, it probably goes into the front dispenser area of the Ice drawer first, and "should" drop in. Try to line up the Auger drive section in the Ice drawer with the Drive fork of the motor. You may need to allow the drive to run while you carefully allow the Ice drawer to move into the right position to allow Drawer to move into rearmost position.

Ice cube tray won't stop making ice.

This is due to the arm that controls the switch on the icemaker itself either being shorted or froozen in the toggled position. Usually the arm would lift as your ice container becomes full and shut the icemaker off until it reached a level where the switch would then toggle to the make ice position and then start makeing ice again. There are three 1/4" screws that hold the icemaker in place remove these screws unplug the icemaker and then use hot water to dethaw your ice maker for about 2-4 minutes after wards dry the icemaker then try reinstalling the icemaker if the problem persists replace the icemaker itself. If you have any further questions message me back I await your reply.
Thank you
Rick

Your icemaker is surely at fault. Shut the water off at the valve, turn off the icemaker, and defrost again. Does it happen again? If not, check your icemaker assembly for leaks or replace the water inlet valve if necessary. Good luck.

Feeler arm on ice maker prevents freezer drawer from opening

Hi, There is no adjustment on the level arm other then bending it. Is it posible that something snagged it as the drawer was being pulled out and bent it? The arm should collapse all the way down tothe side of the icemaker and level with the bottom of the icemaker.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can help further.
