jblake certain basic Windows startup files are corrupted.
I suggest you use the Restoration Disk, and perform a Repair.

Non-Destructive Installation

This will repair the basic Windows files needed, and you will also have all of your personal information saved.

[ NOTE*
A Full Install, or Destructive Installation, will take the computer back to day 1 from the factory.

ANY programs, or applications put on the computer after Day 1, will be GONE. (Loaded by you or downloaded off of the internet)

All personal information is gone.

I am trying to short the AC pad on my watch to get it back to working mode, but i can't figure it out!? anyone with some infooooo


I change over 10 batteries per day, i just take tweezers and touch the battery and or the plate and then just touch all around the outside area with the other side of the tweezers!! Around the area where you see AC and very gently!!

How do I reformat a compaq armada e500 lap top


Use the Restoration Disk.

Perform a Repair if you are going to keep existing personal information.
(i.e., Documents you have created or downloaded, Photos, Music, and programs you have downloaded, or installed)

Repair is a Non-Destructive Installation.

Perform a Full Installation if you do not plan on keeping personal information.
Full Installation is a Destructive Installation.

If you do not have the Restoration Disk for your Compaq Armada E500, you can obtain it from HP Support. (HP owns Compaq)

In the USA the Restoration Disk is free.

I have a Whirlpool GX5FHDXVY, only 3 months old, the freezer drawer does not seem to be sealing, it will be several days before I can get a repairman out, is there some easy way to fix this? I don't see...


May sure the drawer is installed correctly. Then with a hair dryer gentle heat the seal and adjust it to touch the cabinet. use a pen or pencil to gentle adjust it to touch the cabinet. One it is touching and will stay allow the door to stay in that position until the heated area of the gasket is cooled and can retain its shape.

I have a Compaq Presario SR1610NX Desktop PC and I am having problems restoring it back to original factory settings. Can I please get some help on how to get it back to factory settings.


Back to factory settings requires the Restoration Disk. (CD disk)

Turn the computer on, install the Restoration Disk in your optical drive, (Either one), and wait for the disk to boot up.

Once you come to the question of, "What do you wish to do; Non-Destructive Restoration, or Destructive Restoration, choose Destructive Restoration.

(Non-Destructive Restoration is Repair.
Destructive Restoration is a Full Installation )

After you click on your choice follow the instructions.
Takes an average of 35 to 45 minutes.

Don't have the Restoration Disk?
You can obtain it from HP Support. (HP bought out Compaq)
The disk/s are free. The shipping and handling is not.

The touch screen is not as sensitive as it should be - when I use the ds pen in some spots, particularly on the right side of the touch screen, it doesn't always work...


DS fixing solution = NONE: Your DS is old and should be treated more gently. DSLITE: it has gotten to worn out. turn it off for 5-10 days at dry again.
