Question about Building Materials
Right after closing or sometimes a few minutes later we hear the door bumping. We have tried turning the dial but doesn't seam to help. After a while it stops and seems to be fine for a day or 2.Also. the light keeps flashing on and off while its doing this. any ideas?

There should be 2 sensors on the bottom of your door on the inside, 1 on the right side and 1 on the left side.
These sensors serve 1 purpose to send a beam or reflection to each other.
If something is blocking this reflection or is in front of the sensor the door will always come back up.
It is a safety feature so nothing or no one gets hurt when the door is closing!

Most likely your door sensors have been bumped and are not aligned properly. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not blinking.

The motors is cought on something check the motor if it moves inches it will move a yard the question is the motor is it getting power? if so is it stuck on its own drive chain? Check these things you be glad you did.

Clean both safety sensors lens located at the bottom of the garage door frame. Make sure both sensors led lights are lit. If not they are out of alignment and you will have to loosen the wing nut on the sensor that is lit and move it, trying to get the other sensor to light.
