The keyboard is the problem. Keyboards work off a scrolling matrix, so if only a few are not work then circuit for that particular key is broken. Usually by something being spilled in the keyboard or because something was dropped onto the keyboard or the user likes to pound on the keys when entering key strokes. Replace the keyboard.

The OTG adapter is not guaranteed to work with all tablets, or peripherals. It has to be enabled by the manufacturer. having said that, If the supplied keyboard doesn't work directly, then It sounds like the tablet, or keyboard, is busted.

Spaghetti would not be a good choice. Your local radio shack or your phone provider would have that info for you.

How to use a keyboard with android device

You need to attach a OTG cable in your device's USB port.

Like this:https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Samusung-Android-Windows-Function/dp/B00LN3LQKQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1460376116&sr=8-2&keywords=otg+cable,
you can buy it from near by store or from Amazon.

Connect smaller one plug into android device and another one into Keyboard's USB connector.

Don't Do That: You must have USB Keyboard otherwise you have to purchase PS2USB Connector.

Not sure on you particular model but most tablets have 2 mini USB ports one has a power supply and the other is just an I.O port .

Try your keyboard in the other port if you have one and it should work. If not it may be faulty.

I have a kocaso tablet. Model #m752h. What settings do I use for the keyboard case?

I am not sure if you need a specific setting to use the keyboard or if your tablet will recognize it once you connect the keyboard to the tablet. To connect the keyboard to the tablet use the USB cable or the OTG cable that came with the tablet. I cannot give you specifics on how to connect because I am not familiar with that tablet, but you can read the instructions in the user's manual of your tablet. I am also providing some links to help you.

You plug a OTG (USB) keyboard into the OTG socket and it works!

It also gives you more keys than on Googles keyboard.

Can I use a 4G plug in connect USB with my Nexus 7?

(Using a WIFI Hotspot is definitely recommended. Connecting your 4G USB dongle to the Nexus 7 will drain the battery quickly since the USB is using the Nexus's battery to power on. This is what I use) but here's how to get your 4g usb dongle to work
Your device must be rooted, and you would need a USB OTG cable/adapter. Here's an example of an OTG USB cable -6c4749a3-0b72-4ebc-8cb6-60f7bfb77d23.jpgThis app should work on any nexus 7 and it is very simple just install the app and enter your apn of your operator connect your dongles via otg cable and it will work the app available on google play store called ppp widget here is the link it is for rooted device
