Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9564J Top Load Washer
Our whirlpool washer functions, but during spins it has a rubbing noise that just started yesterday. Water pumps out, agitates normaly, spins at regular speed, but it has this new noise and I dont want to wait for it to break completely. (the pump has recently started cavitating.) Any suggestions?
The pump will make a sort of cyclic "creaking" noise just before it goes bad. You might want to remove the back panel and inspect the drive belt, make certain there are no knicks, loose pieces of rubber or it is slipping.
Let me know.
