When I record programme from the tv it always cuts of at least one or two minutes before the end of the programme is there any way to fix this

Try setting the time of your DVR to be precise. If the recording starts 2 minutes before the show starts it will cut off 2 minutes before the show ends! My DVR has functions that allow me to add a minute or two before or after the times set to record, but that can cause other problems like if you are recording 2 shows and you try to record a new show after a show that was being recorded, it won't allow you to, because it can only record 2 shows at a time! Best bet is tro synchronize your watch to the Internet time and use that to sync your DVR time.

How can i transfer programs from a dvr to my dvd recorder?

No, most DVRs do not allow copies to be made to disk, etc.. Some like Dish, do allow you copy to an external hard drive for back up storage and viewing through the DVR.
You need to check with the mfg. of your DVR or service provider.

Cant record two programmes at once

Well no matter the DVR, you should be able to record 2 programs at once...but you CANNOT watch a 3rd live while they are recording...also, if your DVR is hooked up to more than one tv and someone is watching something else in the other room, it will not record 2 at once, either. You can watch RECORDED programming while 2 others are recording, but not live tv.
You might want to check how many "inputs" your DVR has...most have 2 which allows the double recording...if you have an older DVR maybe you only can do one at a time. On my DISH box, they call these "TV1" and "TV2".

Hope this helps.

What is the correct connections from the DVR to my DVD recorder so I can transfer recordings from my playlist to a DVD?

You should have RCA inputs on the DVD that are yellow, red, and white. The yellow for video, the red and white for stereo audio. All you have to do is have the video out from the DVR connected to the input of the DVD and then you should be able to record.

TV is hooked up to Time Warner DVR when I turn on the TV it shows searching for signal but will not allow me to change channells

It will not let you change channels until the signal locks on. If it just keeps searching for the signal, look for a reset button on the dvr. If not, pull the power for 20 seconds to reset the dvr. IF it still wont find a signal, there is a major problem and you should call your satellite provider.

R15 DVR locked in record

2 months ago my R15-500 stopped working. The "Record"(yellow) light was dim on the front of the DVR and a lightly audible clicking noise could be heard from inside the DVR. So I searched the internet and found this FIXYA site. I disassembled the DVR as instructed and removed the power board. Sure enough the Capacitors were bulging on top. I replaced all of the capacitors on the power supply output, I think 6 altogether. I reassembled the unit and it worked great.

DVR recording problems

i am not terribly familiar with these systems but there are probably two sattelite in ports on the back of the receiver, one is a line for watching one program or recording, the other strictly for recording, one of these inputs is probably no longer receiving signal
