Regarding a case that was opened on an iPhone that I sold.
I accidentally sent to the wrong person; the business that received the package forwarded it to the correct person, but what the buyer received is not what I shipped. I have contacted the company that received & forwarded the package to try to locate the correct package. Meanwhile, I am prepared and willing to refund the buyer's money, but she already closed the case. Can you assist me with a resolution, providing me a few more days to resolve the shipping mixup?

We can't help you with problems like this. We only provide information. You need to contact eBay or whomever you sold it through. If the buyer has closed the case, you have to assume they are happy. They may have THOUGHT they got the wrong item and then decided they did and are happy with the sale.
It may also be that they were trying to scam YOU by saying they got something else and thought better of it. You can report the phone you sold as stolen and have it permanently locked. They may have thought of this.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

This is what I wrote up for our inhouse manual on telephone administration for this phone:
Problem: An employee pushes the Message button to receive a message but it calls someone else's desk. This is caused by whichever extension the phone forwards to when pushing the Message light. For example: if the person at 333 pushes their blinking message light and it forwards to 316 that means that the person at 316 most likely tried to call 333, got a busy signal and accidentally pushed the Message button before hanging up thus setting 333 to call forward to their extension when they got off the phone.
All phones on our system should have this feature turned off, but if it happens this is the two step process to resolve the issue:
Solution: First, push the Message button to figure out which extension it is forwarding to. Take note of the extension and hang up.With the hand set NOT picked up, dial #409 and Release. You may have to do this multiple times to clear the call forwarding because it needs to be done for each incidence that the person accidentally set up call forward. Finally, in the management software go to Station > StationAssignments.Select the extension # that the Message button was forwarding to (the one you noted above).Under the Basic tab at #41 Active Message Waiting select Disable. Select Submit.
The busy tone from your cellphone is sent when you are busy with one call & there is another incoming call. The following solution is only not to avoid certain callers or to avoid all callers. It may or may not serve your purpose. For this facility to work you have to make group/s of the certain callers & select them in manage calls. If you want to disable busy tone sent, you can do it by selecting menu - settings - calls - manage calls - accept calls - only from list or none. In this case the person at the other end will receive "not reachable" message.Selecting only from list allows you to receive the calls from the selected groups/callers from your list. Selecting none will not allow anyone to call you. But in both the cases only you will know that who has called you & not the caller that you received missed calls.
Cordless phones can not 'forward' a call to an outside line.
Forwarding must be controlled by the ATT, Verizon, or landline provider. Please contact your provider to determine if you have call forwarding feature built into your service package.
Then, follow the instructions of your landline phone provider. Here is the instructions for Verizon:
Activating Call Forwarding You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.
Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.
Press . In some areas you must use Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.
When you hear the tone, set or change the Call Forwarding number by dialing the telephone number where you want your calls transferred. You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.
If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes. You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.
What you would like to say is to forward the e-mail that you received into another person, right? Here's what you need to do:
1. Access your yahoo email.
2. Open the message that you would like to forward
3. Click the forward button and type the email address of the person that you would like to receive the message.
4. Then click Send
Just to clarify, the Apple Iphone doesn't tranfer file data by bluetooth. So whoever sold you the handset should have mentioned this. The Bluetooth on the phone is only for use with a bluetooth earpice or carkit.
