Um, that's probably not going to be possible. Take it to a locksmith.

We bought a home, and don't know how to open the floor safe.

You need to get a locksmith to open it. It may be possible without damage and they can set a new combination. Otherwise, they'll just break into it if you need to know what's inside.

My volumn on my ipod 4th gen is not working and when i go to settings it only shows languages no volumn setting

One of the major warnings Apple includes with all of its iPods is the permanent hearing damage that could occur if you have the volume on your iPod turned up too high.

To help combat the problem, the iPod comes with a feature that allows you to set a maximum volume level that your iPod can be played at that level is controlled by a combination that can keep others namely children from turning the volume up to dangerous levels.

The good news is, if that combination falls into the wrong hands, it can be reset.

Use your iPod's click wheel to scroll down to "Settings."

Press the center button located in the middle of the click wheel to select the settings menu.

Scroll down to "Playback" and press the center button to select it.

Scroll to "Volume Limit" and press the center button to select it.

Use the click wheel to scroll to the first number of the old combination and press the center button to select it.

Repeat this process for all four numbers of the old combination.

Use the click wheel to scroll to where you want the maximum volume to be set and press the center button.

Use the click wheel to scroll to "Lock" and press the center button.

Use the click wheel to enter the first number of the new combination when the message "Enter New Combination" appears on the screen repeat the process for the three remaining numbers.

Once the four numbers have been entered, your iPod's maximum volume will be set and your password will be changed.

hope this helps

I set a code in the master lock speed dial 1500id, and it will not open. I cannot reset the code and do not know how to get this open. I have read the other suggestions and nothing has worked yet. Anyone...

Try 2 options:
1. just squeeze the shackle twice and pull it out. This is in case you forgot to enter new combination.
2, Make the 2 combination together, the old and the new as one sequence. This in case you forgot to squeeze the shackle before enter new combination

I have an old samsoniate vanity case bought about 16 or 17 years ago - it is open but locked with a combination which i have long since forgotten. Can you help me to reset it please

I don't know what you mean by open but locked, however, these locks can be changed to a new combination by sliding a stud inside the case (under the wheels) and holding it while setting new numbers on the wheels. I don't think this works unless you start with the wheels in the position of the old combination, though.

Anyone know code for kenwood kdc-mp-232

Here is the manual:
http://www.masterspas.com/manuals_av/Kenwood_KDCMP232_Manual.pdf

From what I have read, you can set a new code, but you need to know the old code. You can also reset the code, but you need the old code. You can also disable the code, but you need the old code as well.

I would suggest trying different combinations of 4 digit codes, there are only 256 combinations. I am sure you will figure it out.

Safe open but in locked position

I can't tell you how to set a new combination, without you having a tumbler key.
BUT I can tell you how to figure out the old combination.
First remove any armoured plate that covers the back and unscrew the cover plate. You will see wheels with slots cut in them. These are the tumblers. Now just like you know what the numbers are rotate the dial three times counter clockwise...then looking in through the back cover , slowly turn the dial clockwise ... look for the tumbler that is turning and stop where the slot lines up with the drop arm. Now look on the dial and write that number down. Now start on the second number by turning the dial counter clockwise until the second tumbler is lined up with drop arm. and so on

With a little patience you will figure it out.

I hope this helps you.. If you have any questions please ask.
Good Luck,

My Samsonite suitecase is open, I forgort my lock numbers, how can I set up new lock numbers?

Hi,

look behind the lock
there is a tiny part (like a stick shift) sticking out of a square about 1 cm across
move it to the diagonally opposite side
reset code
return shift to old position
For those without the little stick shift part, try this: With the case open, and the current combo in place, hold down the shackle (the little grey or black button beside the combination numbers).

While holding this shackle down, rotate the numbers to the number YOU WILL REMEMBER.
(Holding the shackle down allows the numbers to tumble without moving the divots.)

Let go of the shackle -these numbers are now associated with the divots.

Now your combination should be set to the number you wish.

Hope this helps,

Karlos
