Question about Home Security

I have bought a used red head safe. It's open but I can't get it to close. Also, I don't have a combination for it and I'd like to make up my own. Can you help me?

Step 1: Open the Safe Door
Enter the Factory pre-set code of 1 -2 -3 -4 -5 -6 and open the door. ==== or your personal combination
Step 2: Programming
IMPORTANT! The following must be done with the door in the
position with your locking boltsextended. Please Note: Between each step you have
4 seconds
to proceed to the next step.
1. Enter in 0-0-0-0-0-0 six (6) zeroes.(This will put you in programming mode. You will hear a double beep.)
2. Enter in your existing 1-2-3-4-5-6 six (6) digit combination.(You will hear a double beep.)
3. Enter your new six (6) digit combination.(You will hear a double beep.)
4. Enter your new six (6) digit combination again.(You will hear a double beep.)
5.Wait approximately 10 seconds and then enter your new combination.
6. If the procedure was executed properly, you will be able to rotate the handle.
7. If the handle will not rotate and the safe will not open, the procedure was incorrectly executed and the combination is still 1-2-3-4-5-6.Leave the door open and start over with Step 2.Entering in the wrong code will result in three (3) beeps.Entering the wrong code four (4) times will result in the keypad shutting down for a five (5) minute time-out.The battery must remain connected. Removing the battery will not over-ride the shutdown period.

Most likely it will not close because the lock has been activated while the door was open. Probably need to take it to a locksmith.

I bought my sentry safe at a garage sale. It is a sentry model s3110. My nephew accidentally closed the door and locked the combination lock with the combination written on a piece of paper inside

Due to the nature of safes, you will need to find a locksmith to have the safe opened, otherwise everybody and their brother would be asking for the combination to a safe that does not belong to them !
God bless your efforts.

How do I change the combination on I have a paragon digital lock & safe

1. With the door open, locate the red button on the back of the door near the hinge.

2. Press the red button and listen for the beep.

3. Immediately enter your new passcode (3-6 digits long)

4. Immediately after entering your new passcode, press the "A" or "B" button on the keypad. Your new user passcode is now stored.

This safe stores up to 2 passcodes (a user code and a manager code). Entering a third code will erase the

first passcode entered.

1. Open your safe with the passcode you wish to change and leave the door ajar.

2. Press the "0" button on the keypad twice. Press the red button, listen for a beep and then enter your new user passcode.

New user passcodes may be 3-6 digits long.

3. Immediately after entering your new code, press the "A" or "B" button on the keypad. Your user code is now changed.

Never set the safe before

If you need your lost combination, you must send in a notarized letter stating you are the owner of the safe. The link below will tell you everything that you will need to get your combination:
