How to set up the keyboard and mouse ijust got from fry's elec.

Both the keyboard and most if bought new recently should be plug and play. Meaning that all you need to do is plug them in and a basic set of drivers should be installed automatically to offer functionality.

8n (front mount distributor)seems to be frying coils, one day working just fine, next doesn't spark at all, New condenser, plugs, wires, rotor, points, distributor cap. Replaced coil last time seemed to...

Had the same problem, but was my fault for bypassing the ballist resistor (my bad). Anyway, I fried the coil. Read all the posts and bought new 12 volt coil (it has been converted before I got it 13 years ago). New points, condenser, cap, rotor. Now it is just my timing is a little off, but I have strong sparky but not enough to fry my coil again.

If anything, keep the ballist resistor. it is needed to drop the voltage to the coil so it doesn't fry.

Despite 220V power cable plugged in correctly, my hp psc 2175 is dead and showing no signs of life

Forgive a somewhat silly question ... on the back of the printer, or on the power brick, into which the a/c power goes, and from which a cable goes to the device itself, there might be a slide switch, which is hard to push in either direction. This switch will convert the power from 120 to 220 and, depending upon the country in which you are trying to use this device, you should have slid this switch in the correct direction, to provide the proper level of power for the device.

Are you certain that you have set this to the correct level of power for the device?

Please make sure that you have done so at each place for which this can be done, then power on the device and see if it works.

Changing the heater core in a 1994 Dodge Intrepid, is there any tips or short cuts to make this long job any shorter?

Sorry, nope. You have to get in there and tear it out. OR you can by an electric heater from Habor Fri**t and set it in the seat next to you. Plugs into the cig. lighter plug.

Rear defrost on olds alero

Remove the interior panel next to the rear window on the passenger side. There should be a small black box (3"x3") bolted there. This box sends power to the rear defogger and carries the signals from teh integrated FM antenna. Often, the end of the plug fries and stops the defoggers from working while the radio has no problems.

The plug into the box is usually melted. It may look like it can be soldered and hardwired to work again, but more often than not the box is fried too. You can get them on the cheap from a JY or get them through GM.
