Maestri Rocama 16 becoming jammed??

Having issues with Maestri Rocama 16... keeps misfiring/jamming up, and once staples do fire they buckle and do not penetrate the wood properly. Have tried everything I can think of including Dr google so this is my last resort before returning and buying a new model if anyone has any suggestions??

SOURCE: Paper jam/lockup

Check to see if the egg-shaped rubber feed roller is cracked. (Pull out the paper tray, it's in the middle at the front on top.) That's what I'm looking for now on the ML-1740. Seems Samsung used cheap rubber for the roller. It should only be a $.50 part if you can find one.

SOURCE: Stapler works intermittantly

If not the power source or cord, the next activation point would be the trigger. Does the stapler make any sort of noise when the trigger is depressed? What type and model stapler is it?

SOURCE: carrier jam on printer

There could be 4 possibilities.

1. Ink cartridges lids are open which is not allowing cartridges to move freely.
2. Ink cartridges carriage will not move from its original position(left) when front cover is opened
3. Encoder strip is Dirty.
4. Encoder strip is Out of position.

Solution:
1. Open the front cover and check if ink cartridges lids are properly snapped in.

2. Turn the printer off and pull out the power cable from power socket, open the front cover and manually center the ink cartridges carriage.
Clean the metallic rod inside the printer using WD40 or Kleenex from Left corner to right corner properly.

3. Cleaning the encoder strip:
a. printer should be off and disconnected from power.
b. open the front cover.
c. Using a dry, lint free cloth, pinch the encoder strip on the right-hand side of the cartridge carriage and pull your fingers across it toward the right-hand side of the printer and you can move the cartridges carriage to clean the strip completely.
d. Note: The encoder strip is a narrow band of clear plastic and can be difficult to see without direct lighting running parallel to metallic rod.
e. Close the printer and try again to print.

4. Repositioning the Encoder strip.
a. Remove the power cord from the printer.
b. Open the front cover.
c. Gently slide the ink cartridge carrier to the middle of the printer.
d. Gently move the top part of the printer belt to the right.
e. Using an index finger, gently push encoder strip down and then back up, to get it back into the slot located on the back of the ink cartridge carrier.
f. Gently press the strip first to the rear, and then forward, to ensure that it is seated correctly.
g. Manually move the ink cartridge carrier to the left, then to the right, to check the positioning of the encoder strip.
h. Once the encoder strip has been re-seated, close the scanner lid.
i. Re-connect the power cord to the printer and try again to print.

SOURCE: Senco staple fastener not firing.

Make sure you actually removed the entire broken staple and there's not a piece still wedged up in there somehow.
Try raising the air pressure up to 125 psi and plug it in and unplug it a few times. Sometimes the piston can get jammed, and a smack with the palm of your hand on the side of the cylinder will jar it loose. If that doesn't work, try pulling the trigger as you jam the nose of the gun against a soft piece of 2x4 or something, repeatedly firing and jarring the tool. If this doesn't do it, you may have to open it up to clear the jam and put it back together.

Clearing the Nail and
Staple Chamber
If, while using your Cobra

staple
and nail gun, it becomes necessary to
clear a jam from the staple chamber or
track, follow these instructions:

With the bottom of the gun
facing away from your face and
body, open the staple chamber by
squeezing and pulling the plastic
track release straight down away
from the base of the gun and
sliding the track back.(Fig 1)
(Note: the jammed staple or nail
may cause the track to be harder
to slide out than usual. Once the
staple or nail has been cleared,
the track will resume its normal,
free operation) Loose staples or
nails will be expelled from the
chamber.

Clear any remaining staples or
nails from the track and chamber
area.

Reload the Cobra staple and nail
gun and continue using.

The staples won't go fully into the Wood

1. The wood may be too hard for the staples to penetrate

2. The stapler drive spring may have ghotten weak

3. You may not be holding the stapler nose firmly against the wood while stapling

I was having to pull the spring out or smack it to get mine to fire more than once. I pulled the spring out and pryed the openings apart a little bit with a small screw driver. Works fine again.

Has staples loaded but does not shoot staple. I pulled out the follower and cannot tell if there is a jam, but looking at the "output" of the stapler seems to have a staple...

I think you just answered your own question. I have had one single staple stuck at the "output" where the staple shoot out and it drove me insane for a few until I slowed my roll, took a deep breath and said, I have got to be smarter than a piece of metal here, and took a calm slow looksy. Sure enough, it was one loan staple causing a backup of the rest. I have also had issues with overloading staples which eventually makes the spring pushup rod become less forceful as it pushes the staples up for firing. Not an issue until you get towards the last dozen staples or so, which can also lead to the last staple not quite getting that millimeter push ahead, to shoot out correctly. These staple guns are like babies. Have to treat them nice and pamper them and heaven forbid you ever drop that stapler cause if dropped more than likely it will never quite be the same again. My arrow fastener model t-50m is jammed how do I remove the few

I have a similar issue with my T50m stapler. To remove the staples unscrew the locking nut near where you load the staples and remove the tapppered bolt. The track will lift out and the staples can be easily removed. Why this is happening is unknown to me also. I purchased a new gun.
