  • Please check whether any disturbance in the link
  • Each PPP packet has a checksum attached to ensure that the data being received is the data being sent. If the FCS of an incoming packet is incorrect, the packet is dropped and the HDLC FCS count is increased.
  • Another reason for seeing too many FCS errors may be that the remote end has stopped talking PPP.

Battery Cycle count of 801 what does this mean good or bad?

It means that you've probably had your Macbook about 4 or 5 years and have recharged the battery in full 801 times.

This is neither good or bad. It's just a fact used to determine how much you've used your Macbook on battery.

As long as you are getting an acceptable length of time while using your Macbook on battery, then you should be fine. At some point in the future, the battery will begin to fail and last for shorter and shorter amounts of time and eventually may even drop-out completely. At that point, you'll either buy a new battery for your Macbook from Apple or buy a new Macbook.

If this answer helps you to understand the cycle count (and it should), please rate my answer as either 3 or 4 thumbs-up (1 or 2 thumbs up are like saying my answer was useless or barely appropriate)

Thanks for using FixYa and Happy New Year!

Clouds in my TV

Hi it seems that the colour gun has gone faulty or the equivelent in an lcd tv. I purchased my umc from makro & I have never had any problems returning anything. As long as it is within the 12 month warranty. If 28 or more days have passed, contact makro or UMC & get an RMA number & you can get it replaced or refunded.
