The angle for cross cutting which includes felling and logging is 30 degrees. If you are aiming to do ripping (cutting into planks so cutting down the grain) then set the angle to 10 degrees.

What is the sharpening angle for Stihl MS 390 chainsaw

That depends on the use the chain is being put to. If it is for normal cross cutting like logs and felling then setting the chain teeth at 30 degrees is likely to be ok. If it is only for ripping - like cutting planks then set the chain to 10 degrees.

Don't forget to ensure All teeth are the same length otherwise the saw will try to cut in an ark - like a banana. Also don't forget to set the depth gauge on each tooth otherwise you will just be producing dust.

What angle to sharpen a Lenox Chain Saw?

Typical sharpening angle is 30 to 35 degrees.
There is a handy little file holder available with these degrees marked on it. If you can get one, you should be able to determine what angle was on your chain to begin with.
My personal preference is 35 degrees.

Why is my poulanpro 20 cutting at angle, what is proper sharpening angle. thanx

The manual should give the proper sharpening angle--the main thing is to make sure that all teeth are sharpened to the same angle. If you remove the bar and chain, look at the outer edges of the chain groove around the whole bar--you may find that the bar metal has worn is such a way that the outer edges are flared out beyond the surface of the bar. This flare tends to grip the cut and cause it veer off to one side. The cure is to file down this flare at about 45 degrees so that nothing projects. Hope this helps!

When I sharpen my chain with the timber tuff electric sharpener the chain cuts on an angle what am I doing wrong??

I will wager if you place a protractor on the bar you will find the right and left links are at slightly different angles (one side gets more bite). It only takes a little difference. The usual suspect is the guide on your sharpener. Some grinders require an offset because the wheel is offset more to one side than the other.
I hope you found this helpful.
