SOURCE: Creda Reversair Sensa Dry Tumble Dryer produces no heat.

There is only 1 heater element, and normally one thermostat.
they are located at the rear of the m/c, behind a removable panel.
If you are not sure whether it is the element or stat, join the two
wires togeher that go to the stat, if the heater then works, replace stat. if no heat, replace heater.
plz leave feed back for this solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Creda Simplicity 1000 Washing Machine not heating water

Make sure that you have not got the energy save button in operation, as this by-passes the heater, and will wash at the incoming water temp. It should not be showing green
If this is not the case, then the heater has probably failed.
To access the heater, you need to remove the top cover, remove the soap dispenser drawer, and undo the 4 screws securing the console panel to the top of the washer.
Pull off the timer knob, noting the position of it, and slide the console panel to the right, support it with something.
Remove wire cllip holding door seal to front of panel, and pull off the seal at the front.
Undo the screws securing the front panel at the top.

Undo 3 screws at bottom of front panel.
Lift front panel clear, and stand it at the right of washer, be careful of the wires still attached to the door lock.
At the bottom, in the center, you should find a black cover, remove that, and you will see the heater element.
You eally need a meter to test it for continuity, and or an earth fault.
Replace if faulty.
Please leave a fixya rating for my suggeted solution.
Thankyou.

Some suggestions it can be a thermostat between the heating element and program clock, a slide contact safety problem by a broken hanger from the washing tub when the machine start to centrifuging it will disconnect some electrical circuits from the programclock for safety through increased range of motion can it happen by some Italian brands like indesit , or the heating element itself has its workinghours reached or an leaking problem that a fuse was broken by a problem by a damaged insulator by a bra strap that was come between the tube and the heating element.

No heat in dryer mode

In electric dryers, heat is generated by the heating element. The element is a coil of heating wire enclosed in a metal chamber. Electric current flowing through the coil creates heat and the air being pulled through the chamber absorbs this heat. If the element is defective then it will not heat. It can be tested with a multi-meter for continuity. Unplug the dryer and remove the front or rear panel to locate the element so it can be tested.
The high limit thermostat is a safety device mounted on the heating chamber and is designed to prevent the dryer from overheating when the exhaust vent is restricted. A restricted vent will cause the high limit thermostat to trip or activate, interrupting the circuit to the heating element or gas valve. The high limit thermostat is not designed to activate repeatedly like a cycling thermostat and will eventually fail causing a no heat symptom. Disconnect the power to the dryer and check the thermostat for continuity with a multi-meter. If there is no continuity then it will need to be replaced and the restricted vent system corrected as well.
Cycling thermostats control the temperature inside the dryer drum. They are designed to "cycle" the heating element on and off to maintain the correct amount of heat. Cycling thermostats are normally located on the blower housing or elsewhere in the internal airflow ducting. Over time, the cycling thermostat can become defective. Disconnect the power to the dryer and check the thermostat for continuity with a multi-meter.

Hello Blessy, the problem is that the machine is pre programed tp give you a certain temperature depending on what program you select. If you disconnect the heating element, the timer will not move on in the program and it will stay in one place washing all the time. Basically, you need to purchase a machine that has a seperate temperature thermostat which you can manually set to low if you wanted.or a top laoder that has a hot and cold water inlet. You could just connect the cold water tap.

My dryer stopped heating up...it still spins but without heat

Dryers are pretty simple. There is a door switch, a thermostat, and a heating element. The thermostat is what generally goes bad in a dryer.

Machine fuses house RCD if a drying cycle is selected

Suggest you turn the power off, remove the top cover, diconnect the live and neutral connections to the dryer element (likely to be two of each flavour of connection if the machine has high and low dry settings). Pop a bit of insulating tape around the wire ends so you don't short anything out. Now try to put the machine through a drying cycle. If it works (albeit cold) without tripping the house power, you need a new dryer element. If the house power still trips, turn the power off again and without reconnecting the element wires, disconnect and tape the live and neutral wires from the blower motor. Again, try to run a drying cycle. If this stops the house power tripping, then it looks like a motor problem (though this would be quite unusual). If the house power still trips, you need to have a careful look at all the wiring between the main timer, the dryer timer, any hi/lo heat switch, the blower motor and the element with its associated thermostats and thermal cutouts (all located near the element on the air duct). Look in particular for chafes where wires go round corners, and where wiring crosses from the case to the suspended machinery in the middle of the machine. Pop any follow-on queries in the comments section of this question - I'll keep half an eye on it. A.
