China made Iphone just stoped working but battery charges

is it an iphone? go into settings and change the language to english. if it isnt charging, then there is most likely a problem with your charging port

try changing the battery, most defects of china phones are the batteries. they don't last long because those are not really original batteries but only class A batteries.
But I am not really sure if you will be able to find a replacement battery in your area but usually china phones includes 2 batteries.

check the usb cable. (try different cable if there's any)

OR

try to connect the cable to different usb ports.

OR

try re-installing software/drivers.

Unfortunately, reformatting the iPhone (China version) would not allow you to change it to UK version because they have different chip sets.

China phones could only recognize programs that are designed to work with them.

We briefly mentioned using junk data to overwrite the iPhone's flash as a last-ditch method of securely clearing off your user data yesterday, and although we were half-joking, that's more or less your only option until Apple provides a proper secure erase feature. Security researcher Rich Mogull has helpfully laid out the steps for you, and they're basically what you'd expect: restore your iPhone, don't sync any personal data to it, and then manually transfer three different playlists large enough to fill the flash. Essentially you're doing a manual three-pass overwrite, which is pretty much exactly the long and tedious process it sounds like -- but we wouldn't dream of selling or giving away our iPhones (or any other phone with personal data on it) without struggling through it.

It depends on which version you get - the China market ones generally just have English and Chinese - and the export ones have a number of languages you can choose from, but no Chinese support.

You can reflash one model to the other if you have the correct firmware, but this is more problematic than it seems, since the same phone may have slightly different hardware in it depending on when it was made, and it's not obvious from the outside.

the memory card is no more working... try to format it after accessing it through any card reader...
Moreover, check the phone set without memory card and with new fully charged battery, if required.
Chinese phone cause a lot of this kind of problem as u are facing..

you cant install java on some chinese mobiles MT6225 - MT6228 cause their neculus OS ,, u need .nes (nes Roms) copy them to a folder called GAMES on the memorycard or phone memory,, reset phone and bingo..
