SOURCE: a/c shuts down after about 30 seconds

Sounds to me either a low refrigerant charge or low air volume over the evap coil (inside). There is a sencer for temps outside maybe it's tripping out on that.

SOURCE: heat pump auxiliary heat does not turn on

Turn up your outside thermostat in the outside unit.
You should have about 3 degrees difference in one stage to the next. So I would change the thermosat with one that has three stages of heat.

HOW TO CALIBRATE OVEN TEMPERATURE INDICATOR AND THE OVEN TEMPERATURE ON THERMADOR PRD304EG RANGE

If you remove the knob, you will see the very center of the male part the know attaches to has a small flat head screw in the middle of it. Buy turning this screw in and out, you are micro adjusting the temp when the oven cycles on and off. Its best to have a digital thermometer set up within the oven so you can see exactly when the oven cycles on and off. It's going to fluctuate about 20-30 degrees. So set your oven to 350, let it turn on and watch carefully when the red light shuts off it should be between within 30 degrees from where you set it, up or down. If its too low, turn in( could be out, I forgot) the screw in the center of that know with a mini flat head screw driver. If you turn it and the light goes back on, you turned it up. If it does not go on in an quarter turn, you went lower. Once your digital thermometer matches up closely whith what your oven says, your good. 25 degrees isn't much to be gentile whith turning that middle screw, you could miss your mark and be off even more very easealy.

My ac unit will not go below 77 degrees. It quit working about 1.5 weeks ago, and I had a service technican come and look at it. He replaced the capacitor and the unit started back up and would cool to...

Hi, It sounds to me like you have covered all of the basis. The evaporator coil should be clean if you keep your filter clean and the condensation is showing that it is cooling properly. Normally, when the temperature increases outside, you will loose as much as 35% of your units efficency as it it working very hard. 77 degrees is very good temperature if the outdoor temperature is in the triple digits or a little less. It may be that your thermostat is off just a little also. If you clean your coils and keep it up like he said, that is great! I wish more people would do this. You should have a 18 to 25 degree temperature difference between the supply air from you vents and the return air at your filter. Example, if your supply air is 56 degrees, and the return air is 76 degrees, a 20 degree difference or TD, that is excellent. You can check this with a thermometer. I live in Northern Ca and it gets up to 116 degrees here in Redding!! We are lucky to have it 80 degrees in our home, no kidding!!. If you are unhappy, call this tech about it and see what he says. Your indoor coil is fine if you have no ice and I know you keep your filter clean. If you lost a capacitor again, you would have no cooling. Like I say, keep a eye on it, it could be the stat not accurate. Check the supply at the vents and filter to see what you have. If its lower then 18 degrees or higher then 25, you have a problem. If you are in the triple digits, this will cause this. I wish you the best and keep up the good work on that unit! That' great! Please keep me posted and please be kind when rating me as I know you will. Let me know the out come.
Sincerely,

How far from the unit or room do you have the remote? remember the remote is the sensor, if it isnt near the unit it will not shut off! place the remote 8 feet from the unit and leave it there, if it doesnt shut off, it was installed wrong or is malfunctioning!

Temperature gauge won't elevate past 350 and timer is messed up

somehow you have entered into the oven calibration mode at least that is what it sounds like. Normally if your press the clear button or reset it should come out of that mode you also could try to turn your breaker off for 15-30 min and then turn it back on. I dont think I would recommend cleaning cycle if the oven control is acting up.

As a general rule set your t.sat 20 degrees below outside temp. Leave at this setting 30-45 minutes. Move down until comfortable no lower than 10 degrees below outside for 30-45 minutes. Unit should cycle normally. If it runs continuously then raise the t.stat 3 or 4 degrees up. The national average is 75-78. I usually keep mine set at 80 during the day here in Georgia and 74-78 at night...

Picture Refresh Problem

Used Panasonic Concierge Chat and they had me do this:
press volume down on the TV (not the remote) and then press menu on the remote for 10-15 seconds to bring up a check screen. After that, unplugged TV for one minute. Plug TV back in and set up for Home. Can exit out of the rest of the set up. So far so good......this was happening only periodically for me, so we will have to see if it works. I was also having to go to TV Video and select Component 1 (cable for me) every time I turned on the TV, but the above action fixed that. Now it goes to the input that was on when the tv was last turned off. Concierge is free. Very cool.
