It can be a number of things so we'll check them all! First make sure when you re-thread it that your presser foot is up and that the thread goes between the tension discs in the front. (Pretend you are flossing and pull the thread back and forth and then pull it out to hear the click just to be sure you have it snuggly in the tension.) Next make sure your bobbin thread is in its tension slot. (You can do the same test as the top...pull it in the slot and pull it back out to make sure you hear the click.) Put a new needle in and make sure the flat side is to the back of the machine. If you do all of this and it still doesn't pick up the bobbin thread, most likely the machine timing is off and this is a repair to be done by an authorized dealer. It can be a result of: if you hit a pin or two, run over a very thick seam or pulled your fabric too tight because it wasn't moving under your presser foot. Do you remember your needle hitting the needle plate? When this happens because of any of the above examples, it causes the hook in the bobbin case to not line up with the needle when it comes down to pick up the thread so you don't get a stitch. I would call a repair center if none of the above suggestions worked and check and see how much it would cost. It could be anywhere from $50 to $150 depending on where you live or who you go to. I'll try to answer any other questions you have. I'm here until you're satisfied! Please let me know if I can be of any more help to you and let me know how you made out. Thank you for asking for me.
