I got a Arksen plunge router for Christmas but does not have a manual. Where can I get a manual? It has parts I do not know what to do with. New at DIY. Thank you.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Plunge router manual

I have had incredible success over the years calling Sears product Help Line-usually Parts
-they have sent me numerous manuals for 20+ year old lawn mowers, rototillers, and snowblowers
-their after-market service makes me consider purchasing new products from them
...but I enjoy buying through auctions.....and hunting for manuals when I need them :)

-contact them at 1-800-366-PART (1-800-366-7278)
-they will be able to help or transfer you to the right place

best of luck

SOURCE: I need to find out how to get my craftsman router

To make sure that you have everything assembled correctly it would be better if you downloaded the free manual from
http://www.hammerwall.com/Download_Manual/43956/
You may have to register, but this is a free service and well worth it.
Let me know if you have any problems or further questions. Thanks.

I have a 3600w arksen jackhammer. It does not have an oil site gauge on it that I can see. what do I do about adding oil to this unit?

all these types of jack hammers hammers use 40 w oil
its electric
cant find a user manual for it online

if no visible site glass or oil filler
whats the chances you have to undo part of the jack hammer
at the Allen key bolts

My 12 year old plunge router 7529 does not start. It worked just fine a couple of days ago and all then sudden... nothing. Any suggestions!

A 1 year old router...that suddenly stops working. My suspicions would be brushes first then the switch.

There are 3 different types of this router Type 1, 2, and 3.

Parts can be found here:
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/porter-cable-7529-type-plunge-router-parts-c-129_1672_1985.html

Brush is item 3 and switch is item 4.

I just received a 693 plunge router via internet order. As soon as i took out the plunge part out of the case and moved the lever it pupped up and now will not move up or down > Is there something I am...

The plunge base is spring loaded. When you move the lever is springs to the up position. To lower it place the base on a flat surface, press and hold the lever down and push down on the handles. The router bit height should be set on the depth rod with the base in the down position. Then release it to the up position. When you have positioned the bit where you want it on the work piece, press the lever and "plunge" the bit down into the workpiece. The depth rod setting will stop the bit at the depth you set it for.

The plunge lock "slips" when the router is used in a table

You can try to adjust the lever that moves the plunge and see if that helps, but a plunge router isn't made for upside use. If you have the option and use the router upside down often, you may want to get a fixed base.
