ok turn the machine on and wait till warmed up. Open door while machine is on and remove the dreg drawer. This you always need to do when the machine is on otherwise it will not reset.
flashing means dreg drawer steady means coffee beans

Comment on oily beans - try not to use them. If you are looking for a stronger flavor coffee, an an extra shot to your drink. Oily beans cake inside the grinder, brew group + components and strains them potentiallu causing malfunctions.
Also dark beans are usually over roasted which makes the makes real coffee flavor lose. Espresso coffee beans should have very little to no oil and be unifrom in color.
Another approach if you are looking for stronger coffee flavor. use less water instead of more coffee. Two shots of 2 oz. espresso (made with 7 grams of coffee) are more flavorful & sweeter than one shot of 4-oz. espresso made with 14 grams of coffee. Hi the problems is not a sensor its the codenser unit. Above the water collector should be a panel on the front of your machine, open the panel and you will see the condeser.covered in fluff, simply remove the condeser and clean it under an outside tap after removing as much fluff as possible by hand. Push back into place when clean and hey presto back to new again.

Normally, normally when you turn machine off, it should re trigger the light button to go off. Another thing to try, is unplugging machine and waiting for about 15 minutes then plugging machine back in. Of course you want to make sure when you dumped grounds, that no grounds were spilled in hole under container and that container is good and tight back in. Hope this helps, Mike
