You have to go to settings and allow it. it may be due to other settings enables like zoom, brightness, flash and etc

Testimonial: "Why Would "Zoon, Flash or Brightness" change the setting to shoot in 13 MP ?, I set the camera to 13 then take a few pics and come back and it says 2 mp and DOES NOT allow me to set it to 13 again until I fool around with settings, turn on and off or so something then the option seems to come back, I do not have a SURE way setting to make it come back ALL the time."

The 2V9WP BL Megapixel Duo2 waterproof coleman camera keeps resetting the date and time back to January 2015. Can you advise on how to get this set so that it will hold the proper date and time?

I would imagine that this information is available within the manual. If you are following the steps outlined in that, but the problem persists, return it to the vendor.

Go to set up menu. It's the last menu item to the right. Choose Reset. You might need to to Google translate if you cannot figure out what the words are.

How do i reset shutter count on nikon D610

You can't reset it. It is like your car's odometer. It is factory set to zero on new cameras and it cannot be reset by the user. This is to prevent unscrupulous sellers of used cameras from passing off worn out equipment as newer.

RESET ALL Button

I'm convinced you already did read the user manual. There are three things you can reset:
1. User settings. In menu mode P, you can undo all the settings you made. Page 69.
2. Reset all settings. Page 151 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset all. All settings will be restored to factory settings.
3. Reset file numbering. Page 154 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset file numbering.
In the same menu is also the view firmware version. Yours should read Coolpix P90 Ver.X.X .
The latest update of firmware for the P90 is 1.1 Great chance your camera came with that revision already. If you registered your camera with Nikon, they will inform you when a new firmware is released.
Really, there is nothing more you can reset on the camera.
So if something is wrong, it can't be helped with the reset you have in mind, because that reset does not exist.
If you want the firmware 1.1, goto Nikon USA and support. Everything you want is there.

I doubt this will take care of the problem. The root directory of the drive is the removeable sd card from the camera and it is above the level of the BIN folder. You then plug the sd card back in the camera and hold down the set button. The whole process is outlined http://support.casio.com/download.php?rgn=1&cid=001&pid=987

How do I change the mp settings to 2 mp on a nikon 2200

From AUTO mode, press the Menu button to enter the shooting menu. The first item on it is Image mode. Highlight that, and you will be presented with your choices. Two of them are labeled 2M (1600) for 2 megapixels (1600x1200). The one with the asterisk compresses less, taking up more memory space.

This is all in the manual under "The Shooting Menu." If you don't have a manual, you can download one from the manufacturer's web site at http://support.nikontech.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13948

Hi! just want to know if it is possible to change the sensor of a nikon D2H by the sensorof the nikon D2X to obtain 12.5 megapixels or more since i love my camera and can't afford to buy a new model my...

In short, no.

The two cameras may look similar and operate in a similar fashion, but your camera uses a 23.3mm x 15.5mm JFET sensor and the D2X uses a marginally larger 23.7mm x 15.7mm CMOS sensor, although both are considered to be APS-C sized sensors. The two technologies are incompatible. All of the image processing hardware is different as well.

If your camera works well then there's no need to upgrade anyway: four megapixels is more than sufficient for prints above A4 size and the sensor produces very little noise. Nobody other than professionals shooting for billboards needs 12.5MP and as higher MP counts = more noise, no professional would use C-size sensor anyway for that level of enlargement. The only advantage you'll gain with more MP is that you can crop the image down more and still retain acceptable quality, but to properly benefit from this you need to be using professional grade lenses and shooting on a rock solid tripod. The only reason that manufacturers produce ridiculously high MP count sensors is that the general buying public automatically think more = better.

If you love your camera then continue to use it: it was built to a very high standard and if serviced every now and then will continue to produce great images with little apparent noise even at higher ISO settings. The best way to invest in better photos is to improve your technique and also to use a good tripod or monopod whenever possible. Upgrade your lenses to the best ones which you can afford and you'll find that the will serve well on the next Nikon which you eventually buy.

Don't believe the hype: you have a great camera. Four megapixels on a C sized sensor will easily outperform more than double that number on a smaller sensor camera and will be less noisy than anything with more megapixels.
