Resetting the distance on my Bell F20 bike computer

When I try to reset the distance I press the right and left buttons for 3 seconds as the manual instructs however when I do that it cancels out all my previous settings. Consequently, I have to reset the computer every time I do this. What am I doing wrong. I would really appreciate any advice.

Mine will not reset when using only the left button. Ithe entire number flashes and then if I push the right button it goes back to time of day. I guess you get what you pay for.

When I press the left button for three seconds, the distance flashes and then will not reset. If I push any button then, it reverts back to the time of day mode. Any ideas, or I got what I paid for?

Did the same thing. Manual is incorrect. Hold only the left button for 3 secs. This will reset DST.

I have an athletic works stopwatch. All it says on the front is chronograph. I bought it at Walmart. It has 3 buttons on the top and one on the bottom. I can't find the directions. I can't get it to...

I have the same Athletic Works stopwatch. I just figured out how to turn off the alarm: press either of the two mode buttons (middle top, or bottom right) until you see the regular time displayed (the seconds will be changing, but nothing else, and nothing will be flashing). Press and hold the reset button (top left); while holding down the reset button, press the start/stop button (top right). Watch the bell icon on the display in the upper right corner; with each press of the start/stop button you will see the bell either appear or disappear. When the bell disappears, release the reset button. The alarm is now off.

Lost my manual and am trying to reset my bell f20.

Somewhere in the configuration program is the option; if you can't find it it in the instructions, that's probably because it doesn't have this option, in which case, you should try and trade the bike comp. off for an American-built one. (guaranteed to have MPH)

How do you reset the odometer for new trip on Bell wireless odometer. there are 3 mode buttons bottom & 2 sides. Seems like it is all the same & none say reset.

Pressing the right button should cycle the bottom display thru the functions--the current time, ODO (the odometer, showing the total mileage you've put on the bike), DST (the trip odometer - the one you're talking about), MXS (the maximum speed you've traveled on the bike). AVS (your average speed since your last reset) and TM (the time you've spent moving since your last reset). Some computers will also show the current temperature, the number of calories you've burned and the grams of fat you've burned.

Press the right hand button until you get to the DST display. Then press and hold the left button for about three seconds. The display should reset to 0.000.

If this doesn't do it (the display changes to MXS or something), cycle the display around to DST again and try holding one of the other buttons for a couple seconds. Holding one of 'em down should zero out the display.

Bell f20 resetting trip odomoter DST

Did an obsessive search of this problem and found this: "Right Button" . . . click to display the "DST" (distance) than hold the "LEFT Button" for 2 seconds. YEAH!! Reset trip ONLY!! This problem is simply an error in the instruction manual. ~G~

Bell f20 computer - no code for 25'' wheels?

when i first got mine it prompted me to enter the circumference of my tire in millimeters (mine was 2074mm). you can get back to this by holding the bottom button in the center (this button is really two buttons one on the left side the other on the right side; holding the center pushes both these buttons). when it rests you'll see the 4 digit numbers. i think u use the right button to change the number and the left to move to the next. remember the number represents your tires circumference in millimeters. for a quick approx use this calculation (Tire Diameter)X(3.14)X(25.4). So for me it was (26in)X(3.14)X(25.4) = 2074mm

Lost manual to Bell wireless bicycle computer

Here are some things the book doesn't tell you:
You have to completely reset the speedometer and lose your odometer to reset the MPH. Hold both buttons for 3 secs to get reset. (Remember to use the left button to walk through the setup process and use the right button to change the settings.) First set the wheel size using Ideluna's settings above on this page (right button to change the setting and left button to go to next number). Next is MPH/KPH, after wheel size setting, push left button again and km flashes. Push right button to change the setting to MI. Next is TIME. Push left button and you'll see the time. Hold down left button till 24hr appears. Push right button to change to 12hr. Then push left button to go to flashing hour. Change with right button. Then left button to go to flashing minute. Right button to change minute, hold down to change minutes fast. Now you are set up. Now the process changes, use the right button to walk through the menu and use the left button to reset. Don't push both buttons anymore unless you want to reset everything again. If you want to reset something just hold the left button down until 0. When you are in SCAN mode, push the right button to go to Time, To go back to SCAN once, hold the right button down - It will scan everything once and return to TIME. To go to ODO, push right button once, push again for DST, push again for MXS, push again for AVS, push again for TM, push again for SCAN to stay in SCAN.
